Daily reminder to those who need to hear it. You don’t have to sit behind a pew to be a good Christian. You don’t have to go to church every Sunday or attend every sermon to be a good Christian. You don’t have to be baptized to be a good Christian. You don’t have to have to know every passage of your religious text to be a good Christian.
It’s not about those things, nor will it ever be. It’s about living vicariously through God and standing up when called to action. Whether that’s helping your neighbor carry her groceries inside or standing against tyranny. God isn’t in the churches or at the head of a pulpit, he’s with you.
Your actions speak for your faith, so carry yourself with the dignity and grace that was given to you.

That's bad. It would be nice if the rest of the faithful, because there are 61.9 million of us in all (even about 20 million give or take a few hundred thousand might not call me a Catholic, I'll live and keep doing what I'm doing), did something like took up arms, or just locked arms, whatever (pacifism is really nice if it works, and it can work, but boy does it take patience and persistence, but so do...other options), to protect the oppressed both in and outside the Community of the Faithful.
If we were to rehash McCarthyism and the "Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last?" question to the head of ICE in front of the Senate... I've got a feeling Todd Lyons would pull out a gun and bullrush the senator that asked, probably screaming 'You're going to CECOT, bitch!' while his goons dragged them out of the Senate and into the waiting unmarked van.
Also, we've got the American Pope now, he should just slam and interdict on every Catholic involved in the government or maybe on the whole country (barring baptisms and blessings of the sick/dying etc.) until such time as we sort our dictatorship out.
You know, whenever I hear Christians say to “forgive and forget”, that “anger only hurts you” and anger “poisons your relationships”, I have to wonder: why do they think anger is there? Do they think it’s just for fun? Do they think we feel all of our emotions just for the fun of it? If so, they really need to step back. We feel angry at our grandmother because she hurt us. She is a major contributor to the development of our system. Sure, one might argue that “it was only words”, but words sting. Being called a witch stings. Being called a monster, the stupidest person in the world, a horrible person, and being told to go hell all do sting. And even then, everyone in this system exists for a reason. That being the case, why do I and other anger holders exist? Why are so many of us also protectors? How can anger “poison our relationships” if we are here as a defense mechanism? If one of our purposes is to stop us from being hurt again?
And even then, I would rather have anger “hurting” me than let that bitch get away with everything.

mnghhhh i eas looking at a pin on pinterest referencing a controversial bible verse and got carried away looking at some of the most talked about verses and god (hehe) are some of these uncomfortable.
Oughhhh having Christianity basically surrounding my whole life has made me go from being non religious to honestly just despising God (if he were to be real) genuinely the whole thing is just coping listening to my bible teacher makes me feel a bit sad talking about bad things are alright cause its all part of God's plan and that they are tests for us and fhat we can find comfort and peace in God. It's so sad seeing people have to abandon themselves for God. That's the whole point to sacrifice your life to be a dervent to God as Jesus sacrificed his on the cross. The amount of religious guilt everyone has is insane (and has been passed down to me gee thanks.) Genuinely what a fucked up God. Basically guilt tripping everyone into owing him something they didn't ask for and forcing them to live a life as he wants.
People are always talking about how merciful he is until you rhink about why the fuck he's so greedy to punish those who don't worship him. The "Oh, but it's free choice to follow him or not. " BITCH YOU'RE SAYING IF I DON'T I BURN FOR AN ENTERNITY IT'S BARELY A FUCKING CHOICE. My Dad once compared God's love to a rapist taking advantage of a girl. HE COMPARED IT TO RAPE. "Oh but it was normal at the time for women around thay age to marry and birth" doesn't God know everything that has and will happen? I mean fuck I've been so paranoid all my life to an extensive extent for multiple reasons but also because of the fact God is always watching me. Please don't watch me. I don't find comfort it, that it scares me. I used to beg God to 'fix' me or kill me in my sleep because it was wrong to be transgender. I hated myself and hurt myself because I knew that I would be sent to hell for being me.
So i've been looking into satanism. I've always been interested in religion and social deals and researching religion and cults are so fun!!! And I've always been more open minded and agnostic when it came to finding religion, tho I've stayed thinking Atheism is most likely. So the fast occurrence of atheist satanism is very intriguing to me/pos.
