Whoops, I did it again! And by "it" I mean commission the wonderful grynnly on Instagram to bring my Redwall gremlin to life.

Here's some backstory (set somewhere between Mattimeo and Pearls of Lutra) :

Plumbago, was born to the sea on a southern isle (could it be Redwall canon Greece? Depends if Portugal is a thing or not), and early on got into the family business of sailing under sunlit sails and over illuminated waves.

Then pirates struck, leaving her scarred and alone, missing an ear and half her tail. Rage drove her to hunt them down, but vengeance brought her neither peace nor her kith and kin back.

So she wandered up North, into Mossflower Wood, where she lives apart yet friendly with Redwall’s creatures, a quiet shadow among feasts and seasons, ever ready with her dagger if trouble comes, and with a friendly quip to those who aren't afraid to approach her.

I had these two lying around as separate sketches for a while, and really liked how they gelled together so did a little fancy background thing. Rocket Raccoon defends Redwall Abbey alongside Senior Corporal Officer Jaden-Whitstickle 'Jadwick' Hundred-Yard Boogaloff.

This is Gaffer! For those of you who read my stuffs, you might remember him from the Dog Days bit of It Really Sucks To Have Friends, or from being the one who's ship Rocket used to crashland in Mossflower. I like giving Rocket reoccuring frenemies. Gaffer is a Contraxian, which well, I was going for snow white space wookie type of thing. Do not call him Bigfoot.
