Roy lifts Ed all the time. When they’re walking, when they’re chatting with friends, when Ed has picked up a book and gotten so invested in it from the very first moment that he forgot to sit down or even move away from the bookshelf. Ed squawks and flails and pretends that he doesn’t like having Roy’s arms around his waist because he thinks it’s just about being manhandled, something he’ll never admit to being into outside the bedroom.
One day, though, he asks Roy why the hell he does it and Roy looks at him and says, one hundred percent seriously, “I wanted to help you be even taller. I figured you’d enjoy it.”
Favorite character: EVERY TIME PEOPLE ASK I CAN’T ANSWER. IT DON’T KNOW IF SHIRO OR KEITH *INSERT THAT ONE ZAC EFRON MEME HERE ABOUT CHOOSING THINGS* I just….I think Shiro. I THINK. I love Keith so much, but I think Shiro overall, because he’s just…protect him (and I’ve only gotten more protective since people have been ragging on him).Â

Least Favorite character: ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm………I don’t actually know. Okay, please no one stab me, but out of the main cast, probably Al/lura. It’s not that I dislike her, but if we were to list faves, she’s probably be fairly low. I love her character and what she stands for but like…conceptually, if that makes sense? Like I find it hard to actually relate to her on screen, and I find it hard to get into her brain? (psy is totally ranking people based on how easy they are to write). Possibly a result of her not having too much to do other than Castle steering (tho I cry every time she has to get rid of Alfor). But yeah, it might just be that there’s not enough (at least for me) to really work with hugely.Â
Tho like, I legit hate Zarkon so you can take that too if you want.Â
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): She//ith, Ki/dge, I am totally into some Shu/nk now thanks for some enablers, I also like Sh/ki/dge (if that’s the ship name), and some Sh/ance. AND HA/NCE IS ALSO CUTE (I’m sorry that’s six I cheated)

Character I find most attractive: I thank the heavens every day for Takashi Shirogane.Â
Character I would marry: Hunk? He seems like he would take care of me.Â
Character I would be best friends with: Pidge!!!!!!! An adorable supportive and clever bean.Â
A random thought: more salt alert, but I just…really don’t like the SK brothers thing anymore. Like I like it in moderation and if done right but it just….a lot of it just kinda screams look! Two asians! Must be related. And that makes me a smidge uncomfy. If you like it, you do you! Like I said, I’m okay in some settings but sometimes I’m just a bit bleh about it.Â
An unpopular opinion: not sure if unpopular, but I’m not hugely into KL unless Shiro also happens to be there.Â
My canon OTP: is she//ith canon yet.Â
Non-canon OTP: if not then she//ith
Most badass character: WHEN AL/LURA WAVED HER STAFF AND WHACKED SOME DRUIDS OVER THE HEAD HELL YEAH.Â
Pairing I am not a fan of: oh right, there we go. KL. Unless you stick my boy Shirogane in there.Â
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): I’m actually pretty happy at this stage. I mean, I wouldn’t have minded seeing a bit more Lance in S2, but he got a fair chunk in S1 and the seasons are fairly short so.Â
Favourite friendship: I’M SORRY CAN I SAY SH/EITH AGAIN.Â
Character I want to adopt or be adopted by: Hunk can adopt me, and let me adopt Rover.Â
Definitely don't feel bad about anime getting you interested in learning a new language! Anime and manga are the reason I'm a Japanese major trying to go into translating, and learning a new language is /always/ a fantastic skill. Languages open so many doors to culture, it's such a wonderful thing.
