#redacted wolves

If I were to ever illustrate Sam and Darlin two as said wolf and Saint Bernard (I made a post about it right here) I need to figure out HOW TO DRAW them as such cuz I got no clue how to draw animals let alone dogs 😔 I drew one doberman and that's it.

In the meantime;

I'm thinking since realistically, the reason why wolves go off on their own and separate from their pack is to find a mate and make a pack of their own. So instead of Wolf!Darlin leaving the pack willingly, they were chasing off a cougar that was threatening the younger wolves safety. and before they knew it they were lost and wolves don't last long alone.

Then they found the cougar lurking by a farm, Saint Bernard! Sam was barking and growling at it, Darlin jumped it and scared it off, limping. Darlin collapses on the ground bloody and wounded.

Saint Bernard!Sam approaches, curious, his guard down. He sniffs but he never growls, he licks their snout as a thank you (or a gentle greeting to be more realistic). There should be a part where Sam's owner shows up but I don't know who to choose since Alexis is off the table because reasons.

I'm thinking of William and Vincent(him as Will's son in this AU), or just Vincent-- idkkkk

I'll also be considering suggestions (if this post even gets enough attention)
