Much like other British icon Ribena, Vimto is a fruity cordial drink but unlike one-dimensional west-country blackcurrant boy over there, vimto is raspberry, grape and blackcurrant and is better (and was invented frst).

The reason it has links to Manchester is it was invented at the uni there and there's even a big statue of it in the grounds. Mr DMcD was at uni there and the students are insanely attached to it and often get pissed around the statue in the park.
