-31, lowkey stuck in the 2000s, dual citizen (Italy&usa), lesbian & in civil partnership with an italian astrophysicist who’s also on the project:)

-microbiologist, specialty in phycology (that’s algae!)

-head of petrova taskforce milan branch. mostly because she’s the most fluent in english due to doing her masters degree in the usa before finishing her doctorate in milan. aka she’s the one who passes their findings along instead of being “in charge”

-technically has the coma resistance gene, unfortunately also has an inoperable (but mostly benign) heart tumor lol

-drinks coffee anyway (yolo). has to make her own at home since iced coffee is a usamerican thing 😞

-local microbiologist stuns cosmonauts by greeting them in perfect Russian

-was actually approached first to look at astrophage samples, however encouraged Stratt to go with Ryland bc of his speculative xenobiology background.

-actually met dr ryland grace during her third year of college. proceeded to drunk throw up on him in a hotel bar. he doesn’t remember this or her (he was kinda busy getting kicked out of their field…) she wakes up in a cold sweat once a week thinking about it T^Tb

okay that’s everything. she’d also kill a man for a decent polenta meal once her team gets moved onto the stratt vat. at least its easier to get iced coffee there.
