While I wasn't working on the Warlord, I also had an opportunity to undertake some on-the-spot field repairs to a couple of damaged weapons. Nothing particularly notable about them so no pics, just stock photographs of the models receiving my attention.

Both Ivanus Enkomi and the Vindicare Assassin had broken weapons in need of pinning - the former, the crozius’ haft had snapped just under the power fist, while the latter’s suppressor had broken off the rifle. In both cases, the join was too narrow for glue, alone, to hold.

Although, frankly, you shouldn’t be relying on glue to hold any kind of a join at all. Superglue, especially, does terrible things to styrene plastic (worse if you use an accelerant) and the next time it breaks it’ll be that much worse. So, pinning it is.

Fortunately, both models had just enough diameter to run a length of wire gauge brass across the break. In Enkomi’s case, because the crozius is segmented like vertebra, I ran the pin all the way down to the other hand to ensure it wouldn’t snap again where the material had been weakened by drilling it out.
