So, I raised two Thievuls and my cousin rose two Ninetales, and we've both handled Zoroarks.
So, it turns out that since vulpine pokemon hunt in the wild using their leaping abilities to their advantage, they'll continue to use that leaping ability to their advantage when domesticated.
In other words, lock your treat cabinets, they're going to jump on the counter and open the treat cabinet if you don't lock it up. (And trust me, they're clever little creatures.) Also, I have relatives in Kalos, so I know that the same applies to the Fennekin line.
