No notations here. Don't be lazy-minded and just accept my word. Do a little research. It's not hard. That having been said. Here in the U.S-

We have elected officials who do not understand what batteries are or how wind and solar energy work.

We have an entire culture built on denial and convenience. We will remain almost entirely dependent upon fossil fuels until they're gone.

The Supreme Court has justices who are appointed for life. The reason for that was to keep them from being pressured by a political party in matters of law. No. Really. That's why. Seriously. And haven't we seen the irrefutable benefits of that? Gosh. Imagine how horrible it would be if legality was a moral question instead of an ideologically political one.

We have an education system that, despite false claims of holding a 'liberal biss' continues the strongly pro-capitalist, "American" exceptionalism rhetoric. Actual history is not a subject that is taught. A severely distorted US-centric narrative downplays anything negative and severely over emphasizes the actual accomplishments and contributions of the country. Greatest. As in cannot get any greater. We are PERFECT.

People here are so groomed that they not only have no functional understanding of what "universal healthcare" is, the arguments they use against it are actually components of our existing broken system.

Despite understanding, from as far back as the 1970's, the negative impact that media and advertising can have on self-esteem and satisfaction, the message of "you are not ____ enough" is stronger than ever.

When I was I was a freshman in high school I wanted to try pot, meth, LSD, quaaludes, and pretty much anything but heroin. Because the adults were so vehemently against these things that I didn't trust their judgment. Because I knew that adults didn't want what was best for me. They wanted me to do what was best for them.

1) Respect the person's boundaries 

2) If they say they are uncomfortable about something, don't berate them for feeling that way- they will still feel uncomfortable after you yell at them and probably won't want to be around you. 

3) If someone says no, they mean no. 

4) If someone asks you not to ask them questions about something, don't do it. 

Unique shouting "Beyoncé" at the beginning when they're all shouting Nationals ideas is adorable.

Erinn Westbrook's acting was really, really stunning this episode. Her face made me feel for her.

Similarly Jacob Artist was amazing. And Marley asserting her boundaries is my favourite thing and her response was exactly right, but oh it hurt to see her turn down Jake's heartfelt plea. That boy is a mess.

I do like that Dani and Elliott are just being treated like normal people, not like they're super-special because they're played by stars. They're just Kurcheltana's new friends and they hang out and it's easy. Though I might expand more on my feelings about Dani later.

I loved all the band's clothes for the real gig, I wish we'd gotten to see them better.

I miss Santana, but I would. Hope for good stuff for her soon.

I feel so bad for Tina walking in on what she did in the auditorium. Like, so much second-hand embarrassment for her. Girl has really, really not been easily let off the hook by the show and the characters for what she did, which is good but. Can you even imagine?

1.       Currently, my favorite fruit is the white nectarine. They are delicious without being overly sweet. The white to deep red gradient is naturally gorgeous. The bite texture is similar to the bottom-heavy pear but juicier and far more satisfying.

2.       Lubriderm’s Daily Moisture Lotion with SPF 15 Sunscreen is great. My skin is moisturized and protected without the smell of typical sun block lotion and greasy feeling. Thumbs up!

3.       I’m a morning person now. Like an elderly person status. A year ago I had trouble waking up at 7:30. Now I consider waking up past 8AM sleeping in. Here’s why:

a.        I think it was because I started noticing crow’s feet and dark circles begin to grow under my eyes. I looked in the mirror and got grossed out. Combined with my receding hairline, fear struck that I would look too old. Plus, I’m Asian which means I’m supposed to look five years younger not older.

b.       I like performing errands before anybody else. I feel accomplished and mature. (LOL) Yesterday, I took a shower, cooked breakfast, and started errands by 7:30 AM. Swooped by Wal-Mart to buy a curl bar and whey protein and was glad it was barren and filled with elderly people. This Wal-Mart visit wasn’t too bad, actually. I was able to find all that I needed in a short amount of time. There were no screaming children or parents. It was easy to maneuver around the store. And the employees were actually nice! It was a complete change from an unpleasant afternoon visit weeks ago. By 1PM, I got a good workout. Heeeeeeeeeeeey!

It's been stressful. Problems are everywhere, and to think i'm a just teenager. Still.

That feeling when someone wants you to get to their standards, reach higher than their expectation but treats you like shit? Yea that feeling. 

And that's my ultra dramatic intro. -__-

Sometimes being in this generation sucks. It makes you feel self-conscious, feel like shit. It makes you feel you're judge everywhere you go. Unless you let it get through you.

And that's where the problem starts.

Speaking of Ate Ika, she's the best. She listens, she tells me if i'm wrong. She's the type of person you can trust, but not too much :P
