Alright, I'm gonna lay it out.
This movement is toxic, the people close minded, and everyone so full of themselves and their opinions that they can't see or listen to anyone else.
I actually really dislike group sj blogs, what the community has come to, and don't even feel comfortable in it anymore.
I quit. I'm not going to put up with it anymore. I want to feel like my own person, with my own opinions that won't get shut down or yelled at by followers or other people. I am not here to be a punching bag. I am not here to be the police of this blog or other people's blogs.
Every single person who has quit a RSJ blog, (mainly group blogs) is ten times happier now then they were then. The only reason I didn't leave when the first wave of mods left (nearly 6 months ago) was because I believed in this blog and wanted to help others. I don't want this blog to fail, I just don't want to be a part of it anymore.
I have had to be the one to log on and see mean posts, doxxing, someone asking for their personal information to be taken down- and mods refusing to do so, racist jokes, "better than thou" attitudes, ect.
I created this blog, and even when I press the leave button I will still care about it, but I can't constantly worry about someone on here being rude or making a bad post, or having to reprimand or kick mods off.
This is both a thought out decision and a spur of the moment one.
Mods- I'll be on skype if you ever need to talk or need help.
Followers- My personal is on the blog, or realmermaidtears if you can't find it. I'll probably post opinions and some more sj stuff there now, and might even make a solo blog about it if I really need an outlet.

But what if all this drama ends up getting the owner herself saying "enough is enough" and shutting this down, I'm not trying to stir drama, I just don't like the fact that a lot of good people are being forced to leave due to the amount of negativity these damn anons are giving you guys. Irony is that this only happens with the much bigger blogs, the more popular you get, the more hate you get and it's sad. ::hugs all the mods::
I would have already done that but physically can't because the only way to delete this blog is if every member leaves.

I'm not going to tell them what to believe or how to live their lives, I just ask that they talk about it on the blog politely and don't attack others for their own views. I can't control what they do on their personals but I can do my best on here.
I'm not here to tell you what you can and can't do, be, believe, think, ect. I'm just here to help when needed or asked.

Ursula is so full of shit. Cis people have no-zero-zilch-none right to speak over anything that isn't explicitly cis related. "I disagree" gg your head is only halfway up a cis person's butt.
I never said they have a right to speak over anyone else, just that they can be heard too and I love your ability to jump on my back for something I have talked about already. You make it seem like my opinion is an end all be all statement, which is wrong. "I disagree", isn't that what you are doing right now? Disagreeing with me? It's just you're being rude on anon while I just peacefully stated my opinion with no expectations of changing anyone's mind.

You do realize you are silencing the trans and non binary community by having cis mods criticise them for having "made up pronouns" and calling them "transtrenders" and other transphobic slurs. Why is it so hard for that to get through your heads?
Hello darlin', our mods have their opinions and while I may not agree with them on a lot of things it is their right to voice it. But, there are not a lot of cis mods on this blog, and you may be mistaking a nb or trans mod for cis which isn't a great thing either.
There will always be controversy and conflict over gender because nothing is certain and things are changing constantly. I'm not here to invalidate, or hell, even to validate someone's identity. You are who you are and I'm not gonna fight you over it. I do see the issues with pronouns that have arisen though, with the amount of them and the fact that they are describing animals and plants instead of people leads to a lot more conflict too.
If these were conversations in an outside of tumblr situation I could definitely see how it would be silencing, but I think that on tumblr everyone's voice is heard and supported (at least by some). No one's voice needs to be silenced, but trans and nb's voices should be raised because even though their voices are being heard more now then before- its not enough and needs to be heard and louder.

I would just like to inform the followers of the blog that the rules are going to be enforced more and I will start to implement a three strike rule for the mods! Just like three strikes you're out in baseball- it's three strikes you're out on probation from the blog and then for further review.
I really wanted this blog to be a safe place for the mods and everyone else and hopefully this will help us get there further. If you have any complaints or need to talk to me about something that happened on the blog and don't feel comfortable sending it to all the mods- you can contact me through my personal and will be replied to privately.
