Thie King and Queen of Hell seek a wet nurse for their baby. Of those candidates taken, the only one that resides in the palace by the end is Alastor.
Of the many problems with this arrangement, there is a glaringly obvious one.
The Queen can't have children.
Nevertheless, a baby girl is born and Alastor is her nurse. That's all he can allow himself to think of the situation for his own sake.
He may have carried her, he may feed her, he may be caring for her in the short term. But he is only the wet nurse. He will leave the palace when she is weaned and Charlie will be raised with her real parents.
With any luck, this single heir will satisfy them.
Ooh, I love this - I would make this an Alpha/Omega AU where Lucilith have been trying for a baby, can't, and so the just grab all the omega sinners to find one to use as a surrogate. Alastor here would be a new sinner, not having become an Overlord or killed them yet, and he's very unlucky to have come to Hell at this time - also, I'd say that omega sinners are relatively rare.
While the other ones are trying to win the royal couple over, Alastor is finding the library, learning magic and working on breaking through ten thousand years of wards and actually making headway. He's cruel and vicious and fights them and refuses to bow. They adore him.
When his heat comes, they share him, and he gets pregnant, and he's clinging to the notion that when she's weaned he can leave - and they say sure, but either let us mate with you or give us your soul.
A mating bond is permanent. A soul deal can be broken or gotten around. So he gives them his soul, but argues it needs to go equally to them both, so he can use them against each other, and flees and becomes the radio demon and he pays absolutely no attention to the princess but - she's making a fool of herself on live television. What the fuck have they been teaching her - why is this hotel so run down, what do you mean they're eating take away and popsicles?
