Double Entry AU Fatherverse variant:
Inspired by latest chapter with a bit of wishful thinking. Perhaps we could call it the 'Diamond Queen AU' or something?
What if instead of them healing quickly before they're noticed by anyone else, Lilith sees the bruises she caused? Alastor, naturally, tries to downplay it when she demands to know who had hurt him, unconsciously gripping him on the exact same way as before, causing him to yelp, and realisation hits her. Lilith is horrified when she realises she was the one who had hurt her beloved husband.
I wanted to be strong to protect him from those like that Beast! I wanted to rule so I could protect him and ours. I didn't mean to hurt him, but I did! I wanted to- I never wanted-
She breaks down and starts wailing. Alastor frantically, desperately tries to comfort her as the Guardian Angels surrounding them panic from both the bruises on their father's arm and the First Woman's obvious distress. This wasn't part of their training- what do they do?! WHAT DO THEY DO?!
Eventually, Lilith ran out of tears. She straightened herself up, still hiccuping, eyes sore and damp but filled with a quiet determination.
"I am so sorry, Alastor. I promise I will do better from now on."
Alastor marvels at how for just a moment she resembled the Queen from his old world.
The black roots in her heart hissed and recoiled, slowly feeling their grip start to slack.
Like with Pink Diamond and her Pearl in Steven Universe, the realisation that her tantrum had hurt someone dear to her was a harsh but desperately needed one.
She starts restraining herself and becoming more considerate of her actions. She slowly becomes less of a bossy child and more of the stoic queen that Hell Earth would need to lead it one day.
Instead of ordering the lions or gators away, she sits besides her husband and asks him questions about the animals he likes: what should we name them, are these really both lions why doesn't the female lion get a lovely mane too, why didn't you tell me you were hurt, would a group of lions be called a flock or a pack? Despite her jealousy of them earlier she finds herself growing fond of lions. Especially the sleak and powerful lionesses that Alastor had compared her to, that hunt for their pride.
Queen Lilith is often seen wandering her kingdom with a pride of hellborn lionesses. The leader of her pride, a gentle mama's boy who looks forward to his brushing sessions with her everyday, is named Alastor after her husband.
Lilth watches how her husband teaches and feeds their Guardians and is struck by a thought: they were formed from Alastor's body and made in her image. They were basically her and Alastor's children. She needs to care for them as any protector should!
Vagatha was startled and a little nervous when the First Woman told her to sit still, before proceeding to brush the 'comb' through her hair. She felt happy when Lilith complimented her, calling her hair beautiful.
When time passed and her hair grew longer, she decided against cutting it and instead tied it up.
Realising that Alastor had never planned to speak up to her, Lilith starts co-ordinating with Lute and the other guardians.
She tells them to keep a close eye on Alastor's mental and physical health, as he is not always the best judge of his own safety and holds himself back for the sake of others.
"Your father is wonderful and good at taking care of others, but he is not so when caring for himself. That means sometimes he needs us to take care of him, even when he insists he's fine."
Oohhh I love this! Good End!Fatherverse!
Lilith learning and growing, and her love for Alastor sending the Roots away. Accepting when he reveals he doesn't want to have sex or multiply, and not wanting Adam, but being godmother of his and Eve's kids just as Alastor is.
Lilith would adore the lionesses, and get along really well with the Guardians once she sees them as equal to her/hers/not lesser, which ALSO results in the Roots grip on Lute fading away!
And with everything...she and Alastor wouldn't go to Hell, (they want to avoid it cause Lucifer Magne is there and he's a creep) and instead they both become Angels, the first Winners. She absolutely keeps lionesses around her though. Winged Lionesses!
And then Alastor realises this means no Charlie, and starts planning...
