Alastor's angel
You know that one exorcist angel Lute backhanded during Vaggie's flashback? The one who got dragged away?
What if that angel suffered the same fate as Vaggie?
Branded a coward, stripped of her wings, and thrown into Hell for being "weak-hearted."
Because let's be honest, if Adam and Lute were willing to mutilate one of their best exorcists for showing mercy a single time. How many others did they dispose of the exact same way?
Alastor is simply strolling through Pentagram City, minding his own business, when a glowing golden portal suddenly tears open in the sky.
An exorcist angel drops out of it.
She lands face-first on the pavement. (The Family Guy death pose.)
Naturally, Alastor is intrigued.
Seeing an opportunity, he offers her a deal: he'll protect her and keep her identity as a former exorcist a secret. In return, she serves him.
With nowhere else to go, she accepts.
--
At first, she assumes she's doomed. This is Hell. The place she'd spent believing was filled with monsters. She expects torture, cruelty, and endless suffering.
Instead, Alastor actually keeps his word. He sends her on errands, has her help with odd jobs, and occasionally uses her as an extra pair of hands.
But he never throws her to the wolves.
Compared to Adam the Douchebag and Lute the Crazy. It's practically peaceful.
--
The first few years are still miserable.
She jumps at every loud noise. Flinches whenever someone raises their voice. Sleeps with one eye open. She's convinced that one mistake will end with someone discovering what she really is.
But no one ever does. Because Alastor never lets them.
Over time, she learns how to survive.
More importantly, she learns how to survive Alastor.
She figures out exactly what irritates him, what makes him smile, when to disappear, and when to stay very, very quiet. She learns how to read the subtle shifts behind that permanent grin better than almost anyone.
Eventually, she settles into an odd little routine. Most of her days are spent around Husk and Niffty. She clicks with Niffty almost immediately.
The tiny maid doesn't care that she's awkward, overly polite, or jumps whenever someone sneaks up behind her. Niffty simply decides they're friends and never gives Clarissa a choice in the matter.
Husk, however, that takes longer.
Clarissa knows exactly what kind of Overlord Husk used to be before Alastor defeated him.
She's seen the stories. He wasn't a good person.
Being collared by Alastor didn't magically erase everything he'd done. But years under the Radio Demon's leash humbled him in ways nothing else ever could.
Eventually, distrust gives way to cautious respect.
--
At one point, Clarissa accidentally uncovers something she absolutely was not supposed to know.
Alastor is on Rosie's chain.
She never brings it up and pretended to not know anything. She enjoys being alive, thank you very much.
Then Alastor disappears for seven years. Clarissa is on her own again. When Extermination Day rolls around each year, she hides. She stays indoors, avoids the streets, and prays none of the exorcists recognize the wingless former comrade hiding among the sinners.
Sometimes, she wonders about Vaggie. The only other exorcist who ever showed her genuine kindness in Heaven.
--
One day, the chain around her soul tugs.
Alastor is calling. She appears inside a strange little hotel.
Then, she saw Vaggie. In Hell.
Missing an eye and standing beside the Princess of Hell like this is perfectly normal.
Clarissa just stares. "What the fuck happened while I was gone?" was the only thought she has in her head.
Bonus Notes
Her original Heaven-given name was Clitrossa.
Alastor took one look at it, declared it "completely unacceptable," and immediately renamed her Clarissa. She has been Clarissa ever since because arguing with him wasn't worth the effort.
Alastor knew Vaggie was an exorcist almost immediately. However, because of his deal with Clarissa, exposing Vaggie would also risk exposing Clarissa's identity. So he kept quiet.
That didn't stop him from sitting back with popcorn and thoroughly enjoying the spectacular disaster that unfolded once Vaggie's secret inevitably came to light.
Clitrosssa? Adam when I get my hands on you - so glad Alastor changed it.
Considering the Exterminations have only been going on seven years, and Alastor is missing for seven years - what if Adam and Lute send her through a portal somewhere other then pride? And that's where he finds her?
Would he...even know what an exorcist is? Or what they look like, rather.
Regardless, he absolutely realises after coming back to pentagram and seeing exorcists, but he doesn't care.
I am enjoying the mental image of Clarissa and Vaggie meeting! And like how Vaggie wants to devote herself to Charlie after she saved her, I can see Clarissa wanting to do that for Alastor.
I think he'd actually be softer with her then with others, because she's so clearly an abused woman, and it gets to him, so he doesn't treat her like, say, Husk - he's polite and gentlemanly and doesn't raise his voice and keeps his hands where she can see them.
He also brings her to the hotel, as the receptionist.
@kitsunesongs @randomreader92 @periguita @sorathemasterofmasters @mermaid-of-the-valley
I like to think exorcist angels have always existed in Heaven, just not as exterminators.
Originally, they were more like Heaven's security force or police, protecting Winners and maintaining order. It wasn't until much later that they were repurposed into Extermination squads.
That also means they would've gone through brutal training, with anyone deemed too too weak being weeded out. Which is exactly what happened to Clarissa.
Because of that, I imagine when Alastor first found her, he had no idea she was an exorcist. As far as he knew, she was just another angel who'd somehow been thrown into Hell.
Only after Clarissa finally told Alastor that he learn that Heaven even had a military force. As an added bonus, he also learned that annual Exterminations were a thing long before the rest of Hell caught on.
Unlike Vaggie, though, Clarissa never fell in love with the person who saved her.
What she develops instead is a deep respect and genuine fondness for Alastor.
Sam Haft once described Alastor's greatest strength and weakness, was his hyper-independence, and I think Clarissa would both admire and be frustrated by that trait.
She probably never had true independence in Heaven. Every aspect of her life was dictated by orders and hierarchy. So seeing someone who answers to no one (or at least appears to) is fascinating.
At the same time, she'd grow frustrated by how determined Alastor is to keep everyone at arm's length, refusing to rely on anyone even when he probably should.
She'd also make a surprisingly good receptionist for the Hazbin Hotel.
Answering phone calls, handling paperwork, and keeping things organized.
Granted, there were literally no guests for most of Season 1, so she'd have a lot of free time.
Which unfortunately mean, lots of awkward interactions with Vaggie.
I also think Vaggie and Clarissa would have completely different perspectives on Hell.
Vaggie has only lived there for about three years. Most of her faith in redemption comes from Charlie, not from the sinners themselves. Even in Season 1, she still views most sinners with suspicion and only supports the hotel because she believes in Charlie.
Clarissa, on the other hand, has spent far longer surviving in Hell.
She's lived on its streets. She's seen the absolute worst sinners have to offer. But she's also witnessed moments of unexpected kindness. Of people choosing to help each other when they had nothing to gain.
Because of those experiences, Clarissa believes redemption is possible.
Not because sinners are naturally good. But because people can change if they choose to.
And that's where she and Vaggie would clash.
Vaggie believes in Charlie. Clarissa believes in choice.
They both support the hotel, but for very different reasons, which would create some wonderfully awkward and thought-provoking conversations between them.
Clarissa is especially nervous about THE DEVIL coming to Hell but is determined to give a chance. After all, he, Vaggie and herself were all fallen angels and ahe shouldn’t judge him based on the stories Adam used to tell th-
And then Lucifer insults Alastor.
Before I checked the GIF, I was also thinking she slaps him. Wouldn’t it be fun if she cursed him in Enochian too?
Alastor and Vaggie know she’s an Angel but the rest are none the wiser.

Hazbin Anchors: Alastor and Charlie
Chapter 0: Prologue
Alastor blinked, he had been staring at that pompus pigeon in the the foyer, finally free of his Deal with Rosie. He had been in the process of formulating his next move when the airwaves had, for lack of better term, rippled.
Looking around the he could clearly see that between one blink and the next reality had altered. Alastor stood at the door of the hotel however it wasn't Lucifer's gaudy monstrosity but the original hotel.
Charlie was staring at him from the open door with something close to bewilderment and rising panic as she also registered where she was, odd given her original reaction had been to slam the door in his face.
Clearly Alastor wasn't the only one caught in this cosmic mishap.
This certainly was a opportunity!
------
I think Alastor is easily able to sus out Charlie is also from the future but Charlie isn’t able to do the same and Alastor is not going to make it easy for her. She has to EARN his confession.
Alastor is also not going to live to same event the same way. That would be boring so I can see him going off script while dangling Charlie into a “Is he or isn’t he?”
Maybe in early loops they go through the entire loops without her being able to get a confirmation.

I am just imagining how funny Lucifer’s reaction would be if Etienne whips out the golden fiddle.
When asked about it, Etienne replies it’s an heirloom she inherited it from her mom. That some rich white guy with a big head lost it to them due to a bet thinking he was the best.
Lucifer, knowing he was that “rich white guy,” is offended and thinks he can win it back from Etienne.
Lucifer haggles Etienne into a bet. If he wins and she loses, he gets the fiddle and she gets the kitchens of Morningstar Palace and they’ll be fully stocked with fresh Earth ingredients(as if she’ll settle for less). If she wins and he loses, she’ll get co-ownership of Lu Lu World.
Spoiler: Etienne wins cause she inherited both Alastor and Lucifer’s musical talents, and was taught by Roo who loved that Lucifer lost his fiddle to Alastor.
Oohhh yes - and for fun, everyone else also recognises the fiddle and realises Etienne's 'mom' won it from Lucifer, especially because Lucifer is trying to get it back.
This results in them thinking she's from Georgia lol.
I am just imagining Lucifer summoning the Sins again and they are in disbelief that he’s beefing with a little girl(yes they think she’s a Sinner but to them she looks like a little girl) and trying to scam her into giving back his fiddle.
Have you watched Avatar The Last Airbender? I watched the live action adaptation with my mother (and making her listen to commentary about what changes I liked or disliked) and that brought back my atla obsession. But since I am an Alastor fan first and a person with do verse interests and hobbies second, my mind keeps trying to imagine how I could fit Alastor in that universe. I've considered some ideas, like him being Sokka and Katara's third sibling, but what I liked the most was the idea of Alastor transmigrating as Ursa. I think he would be the parent Azula needs, since he wouldn't be found of the idea that the Fire Nation is better and thus has the right to opress the other nations, but he would be able to understand Azula in a way Ursa never could
I have! In high school, lol.
I love this! I think Alastor would absolutely do WONDERFULLY with Azula, not least because he's her but better.
Azula: You beat me at my own game
Alastor!Ursa: please, you were never even a player. Now come eat dinner and I'll tell you what you did wrong and how to improve.
I'd say Alastor!Ursa would've killed Ozai for the Agni Kai Incident with Zuko, possibly mid-attempted burn in front of the council, if I didn't have my doubts that Alastor would allow Ozai's abuse to even get that far.
I propose two possibilities:
Alastor murders Ozai discreetly years earlier! Possibly alongside Azulon when he demands that Ozai kill Zuko in recompense for demanding the throne.
Alasor is such a badass that he manages to tame Ozai! Canon!Ozai is obsessed with power and thinks Zuko is a failure for not being as talented in Fire Bending as his younger sister. That would change if Alastor managed to thoroughly kick Ozai's ass when they first met, multiple times, despite not being a bender and to top it off, the illegitimate child of an Earth Kingdom mother and Fire Nation father. Imagine him laying on the ground thoroughly humiliated with him glaring up at Alastor!Ursa, only to feel his heart skip a beat and his face burn when he sees her bloodstained, smiling face.
I am conflicted which I want more but I can see Ozai being Vox 2.0 and being such a simp for Ursa!Alastor.
Rather than wanting to be the Fire Lord himself, he’d try to make Ursa!Alastor the first ever Phoenix Empress, elevating her above a regular Fire Lord(like his Canon self tried to do to himself).
Maybe even making a cult to worship his wife.
I am just imagining Zuko and Azula being raised around this version of their parents who are basically Addams Family 2.0.
I'm imagining them meeting while their around the same age as Aang (minus his time in the ice) at the beginning of the series, maybe younger. And Ozai starts out in denial, not sure why his heart is racing but determined to beat that smug smile off her face and restore his honour, and failing every time. He gets desperate enough to go to Iroh (this is before they started to drift apart) for advice and he starts teasing him for having a crush.
I think since they were both so young and he got fed several fistfuls of Humble Pie, his philosophy starts to change. Starting from when Alastor!Ursa telling why she is not impressed with his fire bending or status or wealth.
Alastor!Ursa raises an eyebrow, "Do you truly think terrorising those weaker than yourself makes you look impressive? No. It makes you look like a coward."
If Ursalastor and Ozai meet at 12, and in the future Zuko for whatever reason still goes to the South Pole when Aang is released, I can see the prince clocking Aang having the same dopey look his father has for his mother.
What if Ozai is still obsessed with power but has channelled it into empowering the four nations under his own rule under a unified collective?
So Katara's mother and the other Water Benders aren't locked away or killed, but are instead being scouted and recruited for medical services or the military. I could see Hama still inventing Blood Bending, but she is hired for black ops and trains special soldiers to take down terrorists non-lethally!
Perhaps Zuko is travelling with his Uncle to learn of other cultures, like as an ambassador or for a cultural exchange program?
What if, while Ozai does recruit Southern Waterbenders, it’s Ursa!Alastor who makes the Southern Water Tribe into a powerhouse rivalling the Northern Water Tribe?
Learning the sexism of NWT, Ursa!Alastor would be so offended on behalf of Waterbender women. And as a Mama’s Boy and someone who grew up with terrifying females i.e. his mother, his sister and his sister’s friends, Zuko would also be offended.
Oh! I can see SWT, being tense and untrusting so Ursa!Alastor turns himself into a political hostage and Ozai agrees because he cannot see Ursa!Alastor as helpless or incapable of destroying anyone who stands in their way.
Imagine the Southern Tribe thinking that Ozai is so heartless that he isn't acting at all concerned about the wife they're holding hostage... until they see him and Ursa!Alastor in the same room and he shifts from the Fire Lord to Gomez Adams.
Ozai is basically a simpering pet and Ursa!Alastor is his master.
I wonder if anyone sees that Ozai’s seeming lack of concern is rooted in that he has so much respect and confidence in his wife.
Maybe some may misunderstand that it’s also respect for their honor and that Ozai trusts them with someone he loves because they are trustworthy.

Altessa AU:
Alastor was the one to tell N, V, J and Cyn about Santa Claus!
When they reunite in Hell it during the holidays and N expresses his excitement over Santa coming, to which the Hazbins (minus Niffty) give him a strange look as he was already proven to be drinking age.
Altessa pats N on the shoulder and tells them, "I am so sorry to disappoint you, N, but Santa Claus isn't coming."
N, V and J look heartbroken, "W-Why not?"
"Because we are in Hell and we celebrate Sinsmas. So his partner, Krampus, is the one who delivers the gifts and coal down here!"
"OH! Riiiiight, that makes sense."
J nods, muttering about how admirable it is that Santa Claus and his husband, Krampus Claus, manage to balance work and love while doing such an important job.
V asks if Krampus is as good at evading capture as Santa is, to which Niffty responds with a matching creepy grin that she hasn't caught him yet but has new traps to try out this year.
I can see the other Hazbins thinking Altessa is sparing the Murder Drones’ feelings with another holiday figure.
They eventually realise based on hearing multiple conversations between them that Altessa does believe in Santa Claus(St. Nicholas) and Krampus.
The Hazbins are now scrambling to not break Altessa and the Murder Drones’ holiday magic.
Back when Altessa was Tessa, she never received gifts from Santa unlike her classmates. Tessa thought it was because she was a bad kid, believing the Elliots on that’s why she didn’t get presents and that she should be grateful they gave her any.
She finds the legend of Krampus who would take bad kids and it actually filled her with hope that he would take her away from the Elliots.
Unfortunately Christmas would come and go without Krampus ever showing up. Eventually Tessa concluded that she was too bad of a kid for Santa but too good of a kid for Krampus. So she’s like in a holiday limbo.
After arriving into the afterlife, the belief of St. Nicholas and Krampus is strengthened with Biblical figures like Lilith being real and spending some time with Hellborns and their version of the holidays.
For BBD AU, I'm not sure how recepetive you'd be to this but I'm a sucker for complicated families who are deeply fucked up and yet love each other very much.
Alastor isn't the best at communicating his feelings, maybe this is a trait that transferred over from his time as Delphi.
Delphi discovers that the park is making people sick and instead of going to her husband and talking it out, she assumes he already knows and rushes to fix it herself. Let's say her and Orville had an argument beforehand that pushed her away, she knew he was hiding something and tried to push to find out what it was.
Orville loves his wife and was planning to surprise her with the design of the Park 'mascot' - an android princess based on her likeness.
Through a tragic series of events, Delphi dies accidentally and poor Olivia was the only witness. Orville rushes to save her and uses the only thing he knows how to work with and has on hand: the 'mascot' android prototype that already has everything cut to her size. (I want to throw in a Cinderella and glass slipper comparison here but I can't find the words!)
It's not Delphi that first wakes up but the 'Gwen' android personality. Orville treats Gwen like a temporary guest in his wife's body; who's only job is to keep it functioning so Delphi has a healthy body to come back to once she's 'fixed.' And Orville falls to the same desperate desire to 'fix' his wife that would one day claim Olivia.
I figure she had to get it from somewhere and it just makes it more tragic that they thought they weren't hurting Delphi the entire time.
Reminds me of Steven Universe in not knowing if the Mom is still there in the Gem or not.
Like the Gem/brain is there, but are they really there? And no one, especially the dad and child knows.
Alastor/Delphi still loves Olivia despite EVERYTHING she did but Orville is dead to them. Cause it’s one thing to hurt Alastor/Delphi, it’s another to brainwash and exploit Olivia and turn her evil.
New Murder Drones content: [LINK]
That… is utterly amazing! I am a J fan now! She went up my favourites list! We got lore and context into her personality and choices!
Makes me feel a little bad considering what happens in the show but she’s still alive so…
I’ll see what I can do to add this into Altessa/Cynastor!

Petition for Red Diamond to have a Sauna!
Yellow has a steam room, and Blue has a whole bathing pool. Red should get a sauna to lounge in the dry heat like a cat.
Being perfectly honest, I vibe with the idea of Steven's first meeting with her being there by accident. Red Pearl got sidetracked and wasn't right by the door like she ought to be.
As a result, Steven meets the closest sibling Pink had while they are dozing with their back exposed to the door.
He doesn't pick up who she is initially from her size in comparison to the other Diamonds plus the sheers that are pearl-esq.
Red, hearing the door, assumes their pearl came to wake them and instead turns to see a stranger in human fashioned swim trunks.
That is, of course, when Steven sees the diamond-shaped irises and has to very quickly sputter apologies and explanations as to who he is. "I'm Steven, Pink Diamond was my mom, I'm on Homeworld for help from Yellow, Blue, and White, etc."
Red, rather than be affronted, takes in this new revelation: that there's a human in front of him, that he has a nephew of sorts.
"You were Pink's..."
"Son." Steven expects further explanation being needed about not being Pink in a new form, but Red just nods.
"Steven. I'm sorry we weren't acquainted properly when you arrived, but I only just returned myself a few days ago."
At this point rapid tip-tapping footsteps come barreling for the door and Red Pearl bursts in with an equally harried Crystal Gem Pearl. Red Pearl sheepishly tries to recreate the atmosphere she's supposed to uphold in public, but Red waves her off and makes to leave the Sauna.
"Good luck in your quest, Steven. White is a... difficult gem to get conversation from."
It's only after Red is gone that Steven informed Pearl that Red just accepted that this was their first meeting and that he wasn't Pink.
They also only realized later that Red never offered to help for all the amiability he presented.
I accept your petition for a sauna for Red Diamond!
(I hoped you didn’t mind the wait for the snippet!)
———————————————————
The pitter patter of Steven’s fleshy human feet slapping against the hard surface of the floor echoed through the hallway.
Steven knew he shouldn’t be walking away from where Pearl left him. But his curiosity kicked in when he saw the red door.
Unlike the hallways leading to the extraction chambers aka steam and pool room, the red hallway was not filled with walls of moving faces or eyes.
Instead of cold closed geometrics, it was lined up the warm organics he’s much more familiar with on Earth.
On both sides of the hallway, rainbow tinted windows rose high, stretching all the way up to the ceiling until they were connected.
Finger of lights stretched past the colourful glass, painting the floor with every hue.
Eventually, Steven came to the end.
Like the hallway, it was full of windows stretching upwards except this time it was to a massive 8 pointed star.
Unlike the other two extraction chambers there were no one waiting outside the door. Does that mean there was no one inside?
Steven was about to leave when he noticed a pale pink light shining. Looking down, he saw it was his Gem.
Steven walked closer to the door and the light grew brighter.
Curiousity peaked, Steven pressed his palm to the Diamond symbol.
Steam burst out as doors opened. Instinctively, Steven shut his eyes when he felt the brush of heat against his face.
Steven peered in.
Unlike the outside, the lighting was dim, gentle and soft, soothing to the eyes and relaxing the mind.
Steven’s head went left and right, observing how different this extraction chamber was from the other.
While not massive as the others, it was still pretty big. From what Steven could tell, the place was shaped closer to a cylinder, tall with no edges, than a regular room, having pointed corners.
Steven’s eyes caught sight of the upper wall. Carved into the stone itself, was a mural. Decorating it was the formed of different Gems, short stocky Rubies with their signature afro, slender elegant Pearls with their distinct beak like nose, towering Quartzes with wild manes, and much more.
Steven also noticed something. While most of the Gems were depicted with circles, squares or other shapes for their Gems, others had a familiar 8 pointed star he saw outside.
“Rivière?”
Steven flinched, nearly jumping out of his skin at the sudden voice.
Following the sound, Steven’s eyes drifted down. Under the mural, reclining on her side with their back face towards him, was a Gem.
It may have been dim but Steven could tell they were red like Ruby.
Fluffy curls, untamed and free, prevented Steven from seeing any clue from their face or upper back, but he could see most of the rest of them.
The Gem was very slender, not as thin as Pearl with her stick-like arms and legs or curvy as Amethyst with her thicker build. But something more… human adjacent.
To his surprise, their Gem was on their lower back and it was the same 8 pointed star he saw outside and on the mural.
Despite the dimness of the room, Steven could definitely tell because, like his own Gem, theirs too was glowing faintly in a pale red light.
Steven watched as the Gem stretched like a cat, arms above her head and her legs slightly raised, tensing slightly before relaxing.
“You’re awfully quiet today, Rivière—”
The Gem cut themselves off when she noticed Steven was there instead of who she was calling for.
In one second, her eyes went from half-lidded to wide to narrow upon seeing the intruder.
Steven stifled a gasp. The Gem’s eyes shone in the dark and made it easy to see their bright red eyes and diamond shaped pupils.
“You’re not my Pearl.”
“You’re a Diamond!”
The red Gem blinked, no doubt dumbfounded by Steven’s exclamation.
Steven cringed, silently begging the newly revealed Diamond not to be offended.
Luckily for him, the Diamond didn’t seem to be angry or upset. Instead, she beckoned him closer and Steven could do nothing but comply.
The Diamond bent down and looked Steven over. Steven could feel sweat forming on his brow from how nervous he felt.
“I-I’m sorry for disturbing you earlier! I was going to leave but I got curious why my Gem was glowing!”
“Your Gem?”
The Diamond’s eyes went lower to Steven’s stomach, looking at pink gem imbedded where his belly button should be.
Steven thought he’d have to explain who or what he was when the Diamond let out a small laugh and smiled at him.
“I see! How entertaining! I had heard Pink was back among us in an entirely new form but I never expected that “new form” to be a human child!”
Relieved, Steven nodded. “Yes, my name is Steven Universe and I’m Pink Diamond’s son. I’m actually here to get the other Diamonds’ help in convincing White Diamond to undo the damage done to the Gem on Earth.”
Steven was ready to explain what a son was or even to clarify his mission, when to his surprise, the Diamond merely nodded, no questions asked. Does she already know what a son is?
“Well met, Steven Universe. Convincing White is no easy feat, I’m sure you already know. So I bid you luck on your quest.
Oh! Where are my manners! I forgot to introduce myself! I am Red Diamond, Matriarch of the Red Court of the Great Diamond Authority…”
Steven nodded politely, hoping he looked convincing since he did not in fact know who the Gem was until he saw their eyes.
Red Diamond’s eyes turned into crescents. As her smile grew wider, Steven doubted he was convincing enough when his jaw dropped at their next sentence.
“…As the son of Pink Diamond, you can consider me your aunt as Pink and I are technically twins, having emerged from the ground at the same time.”
Steven’s mouth hung wide open as he stared at Red Diamond, his “aunt” and his Mom’s sort-of twin.
Before he can ask anything, the door opened again.
Steven looked over and saw Pearl arrive with another Pearl, both looking frantic.
Like the other Pearls, the new Pearl was the same color of their Diamond. Her skin was a pale red, looking like blushing flushed skin from an entire day on the beach.
She had identical features with the other Pearls, having a beak like nose and tiny frame, but instead of short straight hair, hers was long and wavy, neatly tucked in like some kind messy bun.
Instead of the bathing suit like leotards of the other Pearls, the Gem wore something closer to a backless bodysuit.
What caught Steven’s eye more was the star patterns on the Pearl’s face. The biggest star covered half her face and most of the eye on that side. There were smaller stars sprinkled around the big star, and with every move she made, the lines of the pattern shimmer like glitter and stardust.
Pearl, the one he knew, was quick to reach him and herd him out.
“Steven! I told you to stay put! Why did you wander off? And why are you in Red Diamond’s extraction chamber…”
As Steven was guided out, he looked back.
The red Pearl was bowing to Red Diamond, apologising for being late in arriving and that she’ll accept any punishment her Diamond choosez.
Steven hoped she wouldn’t be punished when he see Red Diamond merely flicked her Pearl’s forehead.
The Pearl covered her forehead, blushing red despite already being red, and puffed her cheeks.
Steven was relieved, seeing the friendly interaction.
Before he can turn forward, his eyes locked with Red Diamond’s. He saw her mouth something to him.
‘Good Luck’
Hours later in his Mom’s old room, Steven realises that Red may have been friendly but she never said she’d help them.

Little Rose Bud AU: Slipper of Doom
I feel like Etienne is the type of character to slap someone with a slipper.
I can see Angel Dust who is Italian-American, seeing Etienne’s sometimes mom-like aura and decides to teach her about his mom’s Slipper of Doom. Feels like a big brother move.
What do you think?

4th Wall Joker AU: Mindfucked
For a fic, I feel like the 4th Wall Joker thing works best in the eyes of an outsider who are just totally mindfucked in the event Etienne is seen next to Joker. (Btw, I love Outsider POV fics)
To everyone else, Joker is a complete psychopathic lunatic clown who is obsessed with Batman and laughter.
It’s a total whiplash when said lunatic starts walking around without make-up as he respectfully accompanies a tiny doll-like girl around Gotham even the bloodier parts.
I’m just unsure who would be more mindfucked.
Batfam - Considering their history, especially as the Joker was responsible for Jason’s death and crippling Barbara, they have theories to what Etienne is and why the Joker is acting that way.
Jason Todd - More concerned about the little girl who may or may not be controlling the Joker especially when in his territory and whether or not she’s a real child.
Harley Quinn - Depending on the timeline/continuity, she thinks her Puddin’ has finally become a family man.
Regular citizens - Considering what they’ve seen and been through, they may think they’ve either started hallucinating or it’s a sign of the apocalypse.
Who gets more mindfucked?
Batfam
Jason Todd
Harley Quinn
Regular citizens

4th Wall Joker AU
I just thought of a great way Joker is revealed to have an otherworldly patron.
Assassins of demonic nature are found trying to kill the Joker who surprisingly dispatches them easily before letting himself be apprehended into Arkham.
John Constantine is brought in. When actually meeting the Joker, John scans him and reveals that someone put out a supernatural hit on the Joker.
He also asks Batman if he knew the psycho clown was a warlock with a very powerful patron.
Batman sighs and brings out a file as thick as an old bible, full of his notes and theories on the Joker, handing it to Constantine.
He had to brace himself when the shocking weight of the documents never tipped him over.
I’m undecided who would put a hit out on Joker this time specifically.
One option is both Ra’s Al Ghul and Vandal Savage who are jealous that Joker is Etienne’s favourite among them. (If it’s the continuity where they are part of the Horsemen)
Another is Vox and/or Lucifer who is having issues of someone else being the favoured father figure.
Joker: It’s so hard being popular😎
I don't know about the new horseman though my brother has mentioned Main DC comics universe going up against the Absolute DC comics universe.
When I mean by the 4 Horsemen, I mean it like a thing the Hazbin universe doesn’t have so we could make our own like the fandom does with other Biblical stuff.
I have no clue if DC has their own Horsemen.
Anyway, felt appropriate for Etienne who is influenced by Blitz to make the 4 Horsemen.
Etienne goes, "I want a horsie!" and gets the four deadliest horsies in the universe!
Said horses didn’t set out to be apocalypse level threats. They just are.
Depending on the AU, it varies like:
Normal: Niffty(Conquest) Milly(War), Vox(Famine)
4th Wall Joker: Joker, Ra’s, and Vandal

Hazbin Hotel: Elements of Harmony AU:
@periguita @kitsunesongs I did a bunch of polls for this a while ago to get other's thoughts on what the character's Elements of Harmony would be! Or is it Hell-ements of Harmony?
Alastor would be Magic:
Despite Charlie seeming to be the more outwardly obvious candidate for the Element of Magic, Alastor was ultimately the one who got everyone together, the plot moving forward and with whom without everything falls apart.
If there is anyone who needs to 'learn about friendship' like Twilight Sparkle, it's going to be Mr 'There Are No Friends In Hell But Sure Let Me Take Care Of Those Gangsters To Whom You Owe Money Free Of Charge' Alastor the Radio Demon.
Rosie idly comments upon first meeting him that he has 'a special soul', just like Twilight Sparkle has a special cutie mark that caught Celestia's attention being the shape of her Element of Magic.
Alastor is literally the Magic Man; performing REAL magic on Earth in the flashback, executing feats that were before considered impossible regularly before his arrival in Hell and casually uses magic while other characters like Angel Dust, Sir Pentious and even an angel like Vaggi herself seem limited to comparatively normal human feats.
Charlie would be Kindness:
Charlie is literally the Disney Princess Archetype whose kingdom just so happens to be Hell. Kindness and musical numbers come with the territory.
Charlie has admitted to Vaggi to having additional motives behind the Hotel -and that may be disenchanting to some- but we must remember what Charlie is still choosing to help others when she does not have to. The Hotel's goal in the story is to redeem sinners and get them to Heaven in hopes of ending a genocide. A genocide that was allowed by a father who ensured that the Exorcists cannot harm her in any way. Charlie could've tried any number of SAFER things to get her missing mother's attention, yet she still chose to do it in the nicest, gentlest way possible.
Charlie is kind to the point of naïvety. Her managing to hold onto that innocence and idealism in such a toxic place is genuinely an incredible feat.
A good chunk of her mistakes in the series were made due her lack of empathy, not a lack of compassion.
Angel Dust would be Generosity:
This was a struggle as Kindness and Generosity are so similar I was initially unsure of who should be what, but ultimately decided generosity, as Angel Dust has made a lot of personal sacrifices throughout the series, and certainly doesn't have much left to give.
This may even include the Sin that Angel Dust believes landed him in Hell; killing his own father, which many including myself believe to been done in defence of his twin sister Molly.
One of the first things we see Angel Dust do is dive right into the middle of a turf war despite the risk of losing his new rent-free residence because his bestie was involved. Cherri outright calls him out on this but he brushes it off.
Angel's greatest challenge in the story and the key to escaping Valentino is learning to value himself. In other words, to be as generous to himself as he is to others.
Vaggi would be Loyalty:
Her results in the poll were the most clear-cut! It is just that obvious.
Vaggi is 100% devoted to Charlie, to the point a common complaint about her character is that she doesn't have much going for her outside of Charlie. I do not think this is a writing flaw, but rather a natural character flaw from being an exiled soldier of a genocidal cult. Heck, the second season had her taking baby steps in forging a new identity for herself with giving herself a name other than the one Adam gave her and even finally standing up to Charlie.
Speaking of, Vaggi's increasing willingness to stand up to Charlie is an important part of being truly loyal to someone. If your friend is about to run into burning building you don't just stand back and wave them off. You stop them, otherwise you might as well have pushed them into the deadly flames yourself.
It would it be such a middle finger to the Exorcists who had abandoned her for being 'a traitor'. That alone is enough reason for me!
Husk would be Honesty:
Husk is often brutally honest, both for the best, like when he sang 'Loser, baby' with Angel Dust, and the worst, when he somewhat insensitively exposed other characters personal issues to make a point to (again) Angel Dust (which could've been a big mistake considering Angel is an unknowing spy).
He is incredibly observant and usually the first to notice when something is off, almost like he has a 'Truth Sense'. To date, he is the only one to figure out that Alastor was on a leash.
One of the most sensible of the Misfits- provided his main vices of alcoholism and gambling aren't involved- and is very self-aware of his own flaws. Even if he's initially wrong, like when he claimed that Angel doesn't need him, he will admit when he's made a mistake.
Niffty would be Laughter:
Like Pinkie Pie, Niffty is incredibly energetic and capable of moving at Ludicrous Speed.
Niffty has admitted to genuinely believing in Charlie's dream of redemption through her song! Too bad no one seemed to understand her.
Despite her obvious mental instability she is one of the few characters able to get a genuine smile from Alastor and freely touch him without revulsion. That speaks to the levels of joy she capable of bringing to her friends!
Niffty is outright meant to sound like Pinkie Pie with her even being voiced by the same voice actor as Pinkie's G5 successor, Kimiko Glenn!
Random Plot Ideas:
The Elements of Harmony are Holy Relics forged by God Themself to combat their polar opposite and their wicked creations. Them suddenly being bonded to One Hellborn, One Fallen Angel and four Sinners is enough to send Sera into a paranoid frenzy about how Hell has stolen their greatest defence and is clearly planning an attack!
Perhaps the previous wielders of the Elements included Sera and Lucifer and the other archangels.
The Speaker of God (or Anastasia) could act in the mentoring role like Princess Celestia.
