G L O W 💥 #nofilter My first love was travel. My 3-week Europe holiday brought so much joy it has tempted me to fill this space with everything travel. However, several friends reminded me that this space is first and foremost for wellness. One of them was my dear friend Andrea who is now a US-Certified Radical Remission Coach. She urged me to write my #radicalremission story especially now that I’ve been in the clear for over 5 years. Everyday is a balancing act between job(s), personal life and my wellness passion project. For now, this is the space life permits and I’m committed to honoring it. There are times that even I find my content boring because I do the same things over and over again, but such is living a healthy lifestyle. Be consistent. So in these moments that I doubt myself, I take a step back and try to find inspiration. So what is my story? It is one of healing through God’s mercy and grace. I was 28 years old when I was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. If I look at all 9(10?) radical remission factors, the first that I practiced was deepening my spiritual connection. It was in August 2014 that I prayed for healing (through the intercession of St. Pio) and a week later, I received the best news ever: no sign of disease. It was a miracle! There is one thing though that bothers me about being very open about my history. As someone who wants to have a family someday, Andrea advised me not to say I had cancer when I try to meet guys. It’s too late now to hide that from Google. haha. Yet again, I remain hopeful that this is another area in my life that God will work miracles. As believers, we are urged to commit to our values and keep acting accordingly, no matter how uncomfortable or inconvenient. Sacrifice is necessary. Such is love, and a life that shines with purpose. - I’ve spent the last two weeks shaking things up and redesigning my routine—keeping it simple and fun. Also a BIG Thank You to the amazing people who make me go, grow and glow.😉🤗🥳 Hello Monday! 🎈#inloveandwell - “Nothing can dim the light that shines from within.” Maya Angelou https://www.instagram.com/p/B1nXAXvhvB4/?igshid=advu9g5dh43i
