In terms of origins, a more accurate term would probably be cryptogenic.
I'm not actually sure how any of my facets or medianmates formed. You could make an argument for them being traumagenic. You could make an argument for them being formed through a mental illness that isn't DID/OSDD (eg depression, OCD). You could make an argument for them being completely endogenic. You could even make an argument that one or two of my medianmates are willogenic.
Either way, we'd be mixed origin, but I can't really put a label on it past that.
I generally prefer to use quasigenic or quoigenic though. I mean, I'm happy to talk about where our origins might be from, but not if people are going to be dicks about it.
