~Eldin is killed by the Moonsteed. The sun rises over him as his soul leaves his body...

Finally I post my Inktober stuff! I’ll be posting in batches just like in the last two years. This is from @emily-escott ‘s Questober prompt list. Backgrounds are an issue for me so I want to do another background/scenery based Inktober like I did in 2018.

~At the behest of the Sun Demon, Eldin torched the traveler who appeared to be worshipping the full moon. Many times over the years he had found himself at this shrine, murdering someone in the light of the full moon...

~You were so overcome by the beauty of the crystal trees that you reached out to stroke one. The huge trunk immediately cracked in half, and the shattering sound echoed for almost a half an hour...

~The stream led Eldin to a city tucked into the rolling hills at the edge of the forest. He went around asking after the throne of the Moonsteed, but at the very mention of the beast, people would avert their gaze and make mention of horse glyphs in the hills...

~Eldin has always meant to see the colorful desert known as The Painted Sands. But he wasn’t enjoying his visit, running for the third day straight, chased by one of the most powerful known spirits under a starless, moon full sky...

~After passing through the desert, Eldin found himself wandering, now mapless, through a thick forest. Coming upon a trickle, he followed it in the desperate hope it would lead him to someone or someplace...

~You made it to the site of the moonliths in the Southern Plains just as the full moon climbs up in between the stones. Tales of the stones’ meaning are as old as... wait, who is that up there?
