I got really lucky with an Ebay auction and got this beautiful guy for $12 before shipping, and got more than enough in tips at work that day to cover it all.

so embarrassing to watch yourself become obsessed with a character that feels tailor made for you specifically to become obsessed with. feels like i fell into a trap made just for me. like damn they got me. those are all the things i like and go crazy for
I'm kind of astonished that it took me until the current rekindling of my Dragonball Z obsession to fixate on Zarbon, he is so many things that I like to draw in one very pretty package.
I love drawing strong and muscular bodies, but he's also the kind of character you can put in really flirty poses and have it still feel in-character. I think he'd absolutly LOVE to sit for a portrait or be a nude model, I like to think he'd love all my drawings of him. ♡

In 1952's "The Road to Bali" with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, the island princess has strong feelings for Bob Hope because he resembles her childhood friend, a monkey with a face that oddly resembles Bob Hope.
This was achieved by putting a Bob Hope mask on a chimpanzee.
I remember watching this movie at my Grandparents' house years ago, this scene is both hilarious and incredibly cursed. 😆

Day 2: Corrigan/Roderick Grisbane
For this year’s Leeweek, I want to give tribute to some of my favourite Lee performances that aren’t given as much praise as I think they deserve! I love House of the Long Shadows a lot, and as a little fun fact this is my dad’s favourite role of Lee from all the film we’ve watched together! Do be careful with that halberd, sir. 🪓

A favourite role: Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man (1973).
Summer is icumen in, loudly sing cuckoo. Grows the seed and blows the mead, and springs the wood anew. Sing, cuckoo! Ewe bleats harshly after lamb, cows after calves make moo.
