I love their relationship and bond, and I totes get why people ship it. And I do think that it’s cute and I could always come around to shipping it one day. But along with how turned off I’ve become from shipping in RWBY in general bar the canonical/close to canonical ones, I just don’t really see Ruby getting into a romantic relationship. She’s too focused on being a Huntress. And then there’s the finale to V8 that just… makes ot too heartbreaking for me to ship it at least until we see how V9 handles things. Still, I absolutely love them together and their friendship is so freakin’ pure.
