We are aware that this url belonged to someone else previously, but we have no idea who that was nor are we the same person/people/system.

I’ve been trying to do some research on what a fictive is (because I suspect I might be one, due to hearing the term and having a vague idea of what they are) and I wanted to ask-

You can be a fictive without being a system, right? I just wanted some clarification.

While we aren't the authority on what words and labels should be used by whom, we would probably say that the term fictive typically only applies to a member of a plural collective that has a fictional source.

That being said, we're vaguely aware of other terms that are for people who aren't plural but still feel that fictive-adjacent identity, like fictionkin or we think that's what "irls" are, too? We're not super knowledgeable about those things, so we could be entirely wrong about that one. Would recommend seeking out more information on that specifically.

Regardless of the label, we do fully believe you can have the experience without being plural, yes. What to call it is another thing entirely that we aren't sure of personally, but we do believe this experience exists.

Absolutely~ Intrpio can be found on pluralpedia (link here), which gives a good definition of it.

For us, we do essentially use it that way. We don't consider ourselves to be introjected or based on anyone, we just are that person. We walked straight into this universe from our own and that is literally who we are. When you see us on the screen from our source show or game, you're seeing us. That isn't just a person we're based on or copied from, that is exactly us.
