you ever feel like Chemistry is all made up? like no way tis real LIKE WHY HAVE RULES AND THEORIES WHEN THERE ARE MORE EXCEPTIONS THAN GENERAL FOLLOWERS?!!? cause the rules are just patterns we think we've figured out. they give us a structure to build understanding. it works most of the time. until we hit something that breaks it. after that its "Let's update the theory. Again." BUT WHY BRUV?! WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE CONSISTENT FOR LIKE 19 STEPS INTO THE PERIODIC TABLE?!! they'll write theories to try and box everything in. just then you try to open the box and- "It's both dead and alive." Huh??? what?! i'm just tryna see what's inside- "Too late. Now it's either dead or alive." ..... i'll just go to sleep now.
so im still thinking about a 2D universe and it kinda occured to me
whos to say that atoms are made of protons and neutrons and electrons? what if there were other subatomic particles due to the limitations of 2 dimensions?
like maybe a 1/3 positive one or a 4/3 positive (how do you have more than +1 charge i do not know) or a 2/3 negative
or maybe something entirely different!
basically, my lack of knowledge on quantum physics lets me think of endless possibilities

the idea of infinite potential universes is really fascinating to think about because of the implications of the word "infinite". even the tiniest things are factors in the combination that makes up a particular universe, which means even the tiniest things could set one universe apart from all the other infinite possibilities. is there a universe where everything throughout all history is exactly the same, except the freckle on my sister's temple is smaller by a millimetre? or i decided to wear white socks today instead of grey? how big or small must a difference be to create a separate universe? what sort of chain reactions do they create? how infinite is "infinite"?
