I wrote this in replying to someone else, but I thought it deserved its own post. So here you go:
Honestly I'm afraid of what might happen to Sapnap and Tommy. Mainly because of the similarities to bedrock bros. In canon Sapnap and Tommy have gotten on each other's nerves (like to the point they try killing eachother), much like Tommy and Techno. They've fought against and with eachother, like Tommy and Techno. They got together because of a common goal, like Tommy and Techno. When Sapnap found him in Tubbo's house he wanted to make sure Tommy would fight along side him. Sapnap showed sympathy but having Tommy help him seemed much more important to him, which also relates to how Techno treated Tommy. And like Tommy and Techno, I feel like their downfall will be when they put their values over eachother. For example: if Sapnap gives Tommy up to protect Kinoko Kingdom. Or maybe Tommy will leave Sapnap to fend for himself when Tubbo is threatened.
But if they can overcome that, it would be what bedrock bros could have been. If they realize that Dream will indefinitely win if they split apart, that regardless of Dream's words he will do awful things, THAT would be amazing. I'M ROOTING FOR THIS DUO! And I hope it won't be a repeat of history. Thought as we know dsmp likes to repeat history a lot. It's something mentioned throughout the story after all.
