i LOVE doomed siblings c!mercduo... actually i wrote a fic i never finished or posted in like early 2024 about them if anyone wants to read it, here it is (#dontjudge)...! but basically, i agree with you lol...

umm the way i think of them kinda branches from the fic so i'll just quickly contextualize my made-up lore for them (cw for mentioned experimentation/body modification): punz and purpled were originally from the hypixel server, and purpled was experimented on in order for him to be the "best" player... punz was "too old" so they didn't really do allat... the two would also kill on their behalf, eliminating cheaters and the like. dream saves them from the server, and punz is not only friends (+ more...) with dream, but they also "owe" him in a sense for saving them and purpled...

punz cuts contact from purpled to keep him safe (bc hypixel is still on the hunt for the both of them) but also out of some guilt of not being able to properly protect him while in hypixel and not wanting to confront it... then, it goes on for too long and they just drift apart + purpled genuinely cannot find him...

purpled doesn't remember any of this stuff, though, only rlly remembers punz bc he's repressed most of it...? purpled despises punz because they abandoned him, but in the end, purpled came to the mainland of the dsmp in search of them bc he still cares sooo much unfortunately (and wants answers on top of that...)

on the other hand, punz mainly sticks with dream and avoids purpled for the most part, and really only comes to see him when dream tells him to. even then, they act very snarky and relatively friendly like no time has been lost between the two of them

they still hold trust for each other, though... like purpled would rather Die than have someone see him vulnerable and weak (kind of a result of the experimentation, but he doesn't know that) but he'd let his guard down around punz even if it takes a while... and punz knows purpled wouldn't genuinely try to kill him given the chance... but the weight of everything is just tooo much so their dynamic when they interact is so stilted and weird anddddd loaded and i hate them

i love all your mcyt fanart lately, and i remember your art style from back in 2020 :) it's nice to see an artist who still enjoys the memories of the dsmp instead of seeing it as just a "cringe" past interest <3

i've never felt like i had a concrete style so the fact you recognize me off my style is so crazy to me!!! ofc there's been so much controversy surrounding the dsmp that sours things a bit, but i have never once truly regretted getting into it because it's inspired me so much artistically and as a person! even now, it motivates me so much... this random brainrot has made me draw more within a month than i have probably the entirety of 2025! i still look back on that era warmly and ughh i still love it... as you said, a lot of ppl look and think it was "cringe" and some sort of mistake but why can't we be cringe and free and whatever </3 i still believe the dsmp lore is peak fiction like idk...

about how i got into the dsmp, i actually got into old gen and then new gen mcyt first!! i used to be big into team crafted and the like (the downfall of my goat truemu needs to be studied) back when i was like 10 or so...

i took a loooong break and got into sooo many other interests until like... dec 2019? or so? idk how but i got recommended a skeppy video and it kickstarted my mcyt interest again, and i binged sooo much of skeppy's content!!! actually one of my first posts on this blog was fanart of i trapped 100 kids in a lava cube in january 2020 LMFAOOO...? i was so into the trio and ummmm yeah y'all know how that ended... i think some random person on amino requested i draw dream or smth and i was like "who tf is that" but i still did it...

i didn't pay much attention to the dsmp until the whole l'manberg and roleplay starting kicking off because i was busy either catching up on minecraft mondays or watching orphanduo vids orrr vids of skeppy and spifey orrr the trio vids... idk there was a lot going on at the time man... me and my friend used to bond over watching the rajjchelor (now it's the austin show i think question mark)?

but i think what truly got me investing myself into the lore was sad-ist!! i was watching her far before the mcyt days when she would post hamilton animations, and to my surprise, she followed me first on twt after i had posted some of my mcyt art (and i was soooo fucking gassed bro)... ofc, i had some idea of the lore and was semi-invested, but when her first animatic came out, it inspired me to actually get involved and look into the lore more deeply andddd here i am...

none of the other characters actually know how close skeppy and techno are, except probably bad since skeppy claimed techno as his bestie to him under the egg's influence…

but basically, nobody really told techno that skeppy would be there. ofc, techno probably had Some idea that skeppy got involved in all the egg business since wherever bad is, skeppy usually is too, but i think techno would actually be taken aback a bit at actually Seeing that skeppy got corrupted yk??? like when quackity calls him to come out, they're all directly by the egg, and tbh skeppy probably wouldn't be partying or socializing, just sitting right by it, so when techno enters, he sees skeppy Immediately, and he pauses the slightest fraction, not anything discernible. he still has a job to do here which will, in the end, save skeppy despite the fact that techno wants to just go over to him right now and pull him away so him, purpled, and quackity all carry out their business and the eggpire members flee, and techno is probably a Bit worried skeppy would flee with them… but skeppy doesn't give a FUCKKKK and is just still chilling there by the egg

quackity and purpled are probably ready to just Kill him but techno steps in and is like "i'll handle it"… whole house confused bc when the hell did techno gaf about skeppy? but they let him handle skeppy anyways because why would anyone fight techno over smth so unsrs

so techno approaches skeppy, maybe shakes him a bit, suggests that they leave, but skeppy is Adamant on staying. and so techno just lifts him up and slings him over his shoulder FKJASKFAWE skeppy is protesting and kicking but he can't escape anyways so techno brings skeppy far Far away from the egg, to his cabin…

got asked abt my c!orphanduo headcanons on strawpage soooo they’re below the cut

hiii THANK YOU!!! they both give me brainworms i hate them and i love them and they make me grin and frown andandanddd

i actually was planning to draw smth for this along with the rambling but i'm kinda cramming rn sooo i just got the rambling for you and umm a stupid doodle of him at the end

first off, i tend to draw tear track scars on c!sapnap's face because of the fact that he's a blaze hybrid and blazes get damaged by water, similarly to enderman!! imo, he's the type who thinks crying is some sort of weakness, so he didn't cry for the greater part of his childhood. the first time he does cry (i'm thinking the time he fought with c!dream and his horn broke), he's actually a bit surprised when they burn his skin, and it further pushes his idea that crying is some sort of disadvantage...

as a deeply sentimental and impulsive person, i feel like he's the kind to hoard stuff he thinks holds some sort of emotional value, but forget about it later on and accidentally pile it all up... like maybe he'll be training in the forest and see a rock that kind of reminds him of someone and put it in his pocket and forget about it. this cycle repeats and repeats and repeats until one day he realizes that his sweatpants are... making a sound?? and then he turns his pockets inside out, and a shit ton of rocks just come tumbling out idk he's stupid i love him

on the note of sapnap being sentimental, i think he's the type to overuse weapons/armor until they're basically useless because of their meaning... while he's impulsive, his main manifestation of his emotions is violence, so it makes sense to me that the things he assigns the most value to (besides people ofc) are weapons/armor and what they symbolize and how they connect to the people in his life. i'd like to think sapnap's sword has dream's and george's names engraved in the hilt or something, and he uses it allllll the time... and he probably also forced dream and george to also get their swords engraved with their names so when sapnap remembers that the weapons dream had been using to inflict so much pain have his name on it, he lowk feels sooooo sick to his stomach hence why he is adamant about not giving dream back the nightmare set...
