Ukryte Zalety Systemu – Sposób Użycia
Here we have the best post-punk band on earth, and I wouldn't ever dare engage in hyperbole about such an issue. Their music recalls more Siekiera or Yugoslvia's Šarlo Akrobata, and not so much the deluge of modern post-punk we've been inundated with for the last five years. Features personnel from The Kurws, Pustostany, Przepych, among others, so they’ve got chops. The band are a part of a radical collective in Wrocław where musicians swap both equipment and members and produce a wide mix of music, from punk to drone to experimental electronic music and beyond. Imprints like BTDA, Positive Regression, Don't Sit On My Vinyl! and Mik.Musik. are just a few of the labels that carry their releases.

Some of you may remember a vinyl project of mine from a few years back, which was scheduled to be a 12″ release for Pustostany’s limited “2012″ cassette. When I closed down 80/81, I mentioned on a separate platform that label I have tremendous respect for swooped in and decided to rescue the record. Now with everything finalized I can tell you that the label alluded to was none other than the consistently great Sweet Rot Records of Vancouver (home of Sex Church, Lamps, Dreamsalon, Solid Attitude, and tons more).
The Sweet Rot North American release should be coming soon, but France’s POUeT! Schallplatten (another favorite label of mine) is co-releasing the record in Europe and have it up for sale on their Bandcamp.
All downloads are free. If you want to be generous then perhaps toss that money towards the band: https://kurws.bandcamp.com/album/2012. It would seem radical Polish artists could use all the help they can get right now, considering the belligerent, fascist paranoiacs who run their country. From all I gather of Pustostany/Kurws, they’re largely a community-oriented scene that tends to operate as independently as possible.

Trudno mi brnąć w ten klimat p. Kotas, ale tak to wygląda jak poniżej i chyba nic się nie zmieni.
Szanuję jednak moje pieniądze (11 zł!), toteż wytrwam.
Jak dotąd jestem zirytowany: puste, niedojrzałe, nudne rozterki rozleniwionej pseudoelytki wytapiającej czas, która ma szokować "swojom awangardom", ale tylko wywołuje politowanie.
Bohaterka wyznaje szczerze swoją filozofię życia: "Nie myśleć zbyt dużo".
Doceniam szczerość.
Dla literatury, nawet średniej jakości to chyba jednak za mało.
Kiedy czytasz mistrzynie prozy, jak obecne tu u mnie od kilku notek Harper Lee czy Carson McCullers (i ich wspaniałe, mądre opowieści, z którymi trudno mi się rozstać), to jakże można poważnie potraktować niepoważne dykteryjki polskiej piszącej z młodego pokolenia Doroty Kotas w "Pustostanach"?
Zastanawiam się nie tyle, czy czytelnicy jej przegadanego produktu (niosącego jazgotliwe echo pustostylu) traktują z uznaniem jej histeryjki, ale raczej czy sama pisząca ta wie, jak jest dziecinna i niedojrzała w swej pisanince?
Taka to niby-Masłowska, niby-Topor, niby-Mrożek, niby-Beckett, trochę proza młodzieżowa w stylu Danuty Wawiłow/Natalii Usenko (zob. "Wierzbowa 13"), a jakże odległy od wspomnianych pierwowzorów ów twór jest.
Stąd pytanie: NIBY po co?
"Pustostany". Pustka literacka. Polecam. Dobrze wiedzieć, co nie jest sztuką, nawet tą niską. Czytać chyba trzeba, bo się o tej piszącej mówi po lewej stronie Wisły, no więc czytam.
Ech...
Dramatem naszych czasów jest to, że dziś więcej osób pisze niż czyta.
Zalecam jednakże postępowanie w myśl żelaznej zasady:
"Nie czytasz? Nie pisz!".
