Some of you may remember a vinyl project of mine from a few years back, which was scheduled to be a 12″ release for Pustostany’s limited “2012″ cassette. When I closed down 80/81, I mentioned on a separate platform that label I have tremendous respect for swooped in and decided to rescue the record. Now with everything finalized I can tell you that the label alluded to was none other than the consistently great Sweet Rot Records of Vancouver (home of Sex Church, Lamps, Dreamsalon, Solid Attitude, and tons more).

The Sweet Rot North American release should be coming soon, but France’s POUeT! Schallplatten (another favorite label of mine) is co-releasing the record in Europe and have it up for sale on their Bandcamp.

All downloads are free. If you want to be generous then perhaps toss that money towards the band: https://kurws.bandcamp.com/album/2012. It would seem radical Polish artists could use all the help they can get right now, considering the belligerent, fascist paranoiacs who run their country. From all I gather of Pustostany/Kurws, they’re largely a community-oriented scene that tends to operate as independently as possible.
