Imagine...
Ezra, Thrawn, and all those trapped imperials soaring through hyperspace together or stranded on a remote planet... having to work together to survive and learning that behind every person, every star destroyer worker who didn't so much as have eyes beneath thier caps... had a name, a skill, and a reason for being part of the Empire.
Here, there was no war, no Resistance or Empire, there was only survival and eachother. And they had to get along of they want to make it out alive.
Maybe some of them even grew to be like brothers/ sisters to Ezra after a while?
