My whimsy theory is that Jonas acts like he's normal about his rivalry with Tadej to the press but then does the exact opposite when he's there, like deciding to race the European Championships in 2025 despite knowing he'd fucking flunk it because he saw Tadej was having a weak moment since Canada and took matters in his own hands to tell Tadej "you can't fuck up now i still have to fucking beat you again."
