The Tour is over and I’m still processing the tragedies of the final week. A few days ago, I read this quote from Casablanca and immediately thought of Tadej and Jonas, so I decided to make this edit for the end of the Tour because, well, you know, I thought we’d get a sixth photo of them sharing the podium. Sniff. I'm still mourning Jonas's retirement from the competition cause Pogi was right: this Tour won't be the same without him (and I also mourn Lipo's too. I miss my two bois in general). At last, we’ll be able to say goodbye to this edition and pretend it never existed -gets hit-.

yeah so honestly I’ve just been sitting on Instagram waiting for this since the stage ended. that and looking at every possible Remco stage win post(BECAUSE LETS GOOOO BORA). but here we are. another Jonas post from Tadej. God the caption. “my friend” someone sedate me
and while we’re here, did tadej really have to pick the photo where he’s leaning all the way into Jonas’ space to say something directly into his ear canal. like he had the power to choose and he chose that picture. he also chose a picture where Jonas is in polka dots. and I have so many thoughts because like he’s displaying Jonas in a winner’s jersey which could be a sign of his immense respect for Jonas’ talent. but if you’re a little more unhinged(and read far too much omegaverse fic) you see tadej posting Jonas wearing his jersey. I’ll leave it at that. something about how tadejs face isn’t visible in the photo too just makes me think he’s really trying to have the focus be on Jonas but he’s also unwilling to take himself out of the picture. like it has to be about Jonas but he also can’t stand the idea of them not being thought of simultaneously. the focus of the photo is Jonas but Tadej is always in the picture
