Two excellent #PureMalt whiskies out of #Japan. The #taketsuru21 from #nikkaDistillery and the MWR by #ichiros. For me the MWR is amazing value for money with the whisky being aged purely in #Mizunara casks. Incense notes coming in strong with a peppery and sweet apple profile. For those that don't know Pure Malt is a term used when a blended whisky is composed solely of single malt whiskies from different distilleries.
