still populating my tumblr with art. Here's my Pteromon x3

Naturally, Shoto and Owen form the first pair. It helps that the webcomic has surprisingly set both of them up to face Unchain for the final battle together. Zephagamon and Medusamon both reference Greek mythology too so that's nice too

Arisa and Violet form the second because they are best friends and despite their aesthetics, their digimon are very similar. Shoemon represents classic fairy tales while Ghostmon pulls from folklore. The crossover potential is great

Yao and Mirai are decently close. It helps that Ryugumon and Kaguyamon were revealed to be members of the Tentei Hachibusu together. Plus, pairing the moon with the sea is just a perfect fit in general

Close and Altea have no interactions that I can remember, but they're both digital lifeforms that long for personal attachment. They should be best friends. Combining Sunarizamon's ancient motif with Espimon's more futuristic design can make them a healthier version of ExMaquinamon

Canonically, Yuuki and Winr usually partner up for missions. The fusion wouldn't be as weird as it may seem on paper. Funbeemon's tech can upgrade Impmon's speaker system. A demonic cyborg insect dragon is peak Digimon

As the eldest members of the group, Ryutaro and Suzune make a fun choice. Since Skadimon is Frigimon's mega, I like the idea of basing the jogress off of Ymir. Ymir is a Norse giant created from the ice of Nifl and the flames of Múspell. It's more complicated than that, but that's the main part. Dinomon's fire and Skadimon's ice replicate the mythology

This leaves Cool Boy with Zenith and I'm actually not mad about that. Cool Boy is the leader of the heroes and Zenith was the secondary villain. Omnimon is a miracle created from the will of others. Ragnamon is a dangerous digimon born from forcibly taking data

I would like to see how that would end up
