Entirely odd couple but Lugnut x TFA Prowl has me feeling a certain way.
Lugnut and Prowl get together on Earth, but only go public and get married after the war's peaceful resolution. Prowl loves Lugnut's passion and spirit, while Lugnut loves Prowl's temperment and his appreciation for life. They settle down in New Kaon, where Prowl teaches exercise classes, and where Lugnut does carpentry with Blitzwing.
Prowl gets sparked about 3 years into their marriage. Him and Lugnut are thrilled. Prowl's always wanted children, and Lugnut's always wanted someone to continue his legacy.
Prowl ends up carrying a very large sparkling. Not overly large, but certainly big enough to where he begins to show earlier than expected. Prowl's a bit bashful on the new attention his body gets, but Lugnut's pressence at his side keeps most onlookers at bay.
Blitzwing is very excited to be an uncle. Strika is less enthusiastic but still reacts postively to her friend's announcement. The Autobots react less warmly. None of them really like Lugnut. Bulkhead and Bumblebee have the best reactions, while Ratchet has the worst. Prowl ends up going off on the older mech after a few too many snarky remarks.
Lugnut is proud of his husband. It takes a lot of strength to carry a sparkling, and Lugnut always tells Prowl about how strong willed he is. He's always willing to help his husband in any way he can. Prowl is somewhat flustered by Lugnut's affection, but he's thankful for having such a supportive partner.
Movement gets harder for Prowl as he gets heavier and rounder. He is unable to do his job properly after the six month mark. He is devastated when he can no longer do most yoga poses properly at the seven month mark. Lugnut sees his pain, and he gets Prowl a yoga ball. He begins working out with him like this.
Prowl goes into labor after he over-exerts himself too much. He opts for no pain killers, wishing to have as natural as a birth as possible. Emergence is long and arduous. Medics have to press on Prowl's stomach to help get the sparkling out. Prowl almost breaks Lugnut's hand. Lugnut has to disable his audials with how much Prowl howls in pain. It's the worst pain Prowl's ever felt in his life, but when his big, chunky femmeling is placed into his arms, he feels all the pain wash away.
The sparkling is named Bayonet, and at the age of 5 minutes, she already has Lugnut wrapped around her little pincer. Prowl chuckles as Lugnut dotes on her, cuddles with her. Prowl ends up passing out after that. He was in labour for like a day and a half. Man's tired.
Ooooo this sounds like an interesting rare pair!
