#protest 2026

beating students with laathis, (and these laathis had sharp nails in them btw) students were lying on the ground, female police officers literally tore the clothes of girls who came for protests, when in reality they are supposed to protect them.

is this a democratic country at this point? we were fighting for our education, that is the only median for some people btw. we are the future of this country and we were treated like terrorists? im truly speechless

Police Brutality. Expired Tear gas. Lathi's with iron nails. Adults, students and children were beaten up. People are injured. Those who spoke out are in jail. All for what?

A Peaceful, non-violent, Hunger Strike, with an aim to get Justice for the students -dead and alive- who's entire lives were ruined.

This is just the beginning. If they put this fire out, they'll think they can do anything and no one will be able to stop them.

We cant let this spark for change die out, it needs to be talked about. People need to start caring, because today you might think this doesnt affect you, but then tomorrow when you have to deal with something , it will be too late and there would be no one to stand with you.

Change is possible. Our neighbours in Nepal did it, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Indonesia too. Its India's turn now.
