BENEFIT: Three reasons why we should ask for good dreams
1⃣. Good dreams are a glad tiding
Abū Hurairah radhiyallāhu 'anhu reported that Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Dreams are of three types: one good dream which is a form of glad tiding from Allāh; the evil dream which causes pain is from Shaytaan; and the third one is a suggestion of one's own mind...” [Muslim 2263]
2⃣. It was a practice of the salaf to ask for good dreams
Ai'sha radhiyallahu 'anha would supplicate before going to sleep saying:
((اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أسألُكَ رُؤْيا صَالِحَةً، صَادِقَةً غَيْرَ كاذِبَةٍ، نافِعَةً غَيْرَ ضَارَّةٍ))
"O Allah, I ask You for a good dream; one that is true and not false; one which is beneficial and not harmful."
[Reported by An-Nawawi in Adhkaar; Al-hafidh Ibn Hajar stated in 'Nataa'ij Al-Afkaar' that it is 'Sahih' to A'isha (Mawqoof)]
3⃣. Seeing a good dream is an indication of one's righteousness
Ibn 'Umar radhiyallahu 'anhu narrated: "In the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) whosoever saw a dream would narrate it to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). I had a wish of seeing a dream to narrate it to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) I was a grown up boy and used to sleep in the masjid in the lifetime of the Prophet. I saw in the dream that two angels caught hold of me and took me to the Fire which was built all round like a built well and had two poles in it and the people in it were known to me. I started saying, "I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire." Then I met another angel who told me not to be afraid. I narrated the dream to Hafsa who told it to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). The Prophet said, "Abdullah is a good man. I wish he prayed Tahajjud." After that `Abdullah (Ibn Umar) used to sleep but a little at night." [Reported by Bukhari & Muslim]
Ibn Hajar commented in Fat-hul Bari, saying: "his saying, 'I had a wish of seeing a dream,' and in another report he (Ibn 'Umar) added:
"فقلت في نفسي: لو كان فيك خير لرأيت مثل ما يرى هؤلاء"
'I said to myself, if there was any good in you, you would have also seen what these people see,' (Ibn Hajar said) what is taken from this is, righteous dreams indicate the goodness of those who see them."
If you're a Muslim girl in your 20s - this is your reminder to focus on the right things.
1. Set boundaries and learn to say no.
Not everything and everyone deserves access to your time, energy or heart.
2. Build a strong and consistent relationship with the Quran.
You'll never feel truly lost when you keep His words close.
3. Gain Islamic knowledge - you're the one who'll pass it on to your future children, in sha Allah.
Start now, even if it's just one hadith a week.
4. Start journaling.
It helps you manage emotions, get clarity, and stop overthinking things that don't even matter.
5. Learn your rights and obligations in marriage.
Preparation brings confidence. You deserve to be informed, not just hopeful.
6. Take care of your body.
It's your amana. Move it, hydrate it, nourish it. Especially during your cycle.
7. Fix your sleeping schedule.
Early sleep = better Fajr, better energy, better mood, better life.
Start with one. Stay consistent. Your future self will thank you.
Too much wisdom in this one hadis.
Abu Dharr reported:
I said, “O Messenger of Allah, instruct me.”
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I advise you to be mindful of Allah Almighty, for it will beautify all of your affairs.”
I said, “Tell me more.”
The Prophet said, “You must recite the Quran and remember Allah Almighty, for you will be mentioned in heaven and you will have light upon earth.”
I said, “Tell me more.”
The Prophet said, “You must observe long periods of silence, for it will drive away Satan and help you in the matter of your religion.”
I said, “Tell me more.”
The Prophet said, “Beware of too much laughter, for it will deaden the heart and take away the light on your face.”
I said, “Tell me more.”
The Prophet said, “Speak the truth, even if it is bitter.” I said, “Tell me more.” The Prophet said, “Do not fear the blame of any critic in the matter of Allah.”

Prophet Mohammad ﷺ said:
“Know that there is much good in being patient with what you detest, victory will come with patience, relief will come with affliction, and with the hardship will come an ease.”
(Musnad Ahmad 2803)
And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].
