#prop commissions

If you’re contacting an artist about a potential commission and they end up quoting you a price you can’t afford? Please just send them a “oh, thank you, thats outside my budget at the moment” message in response, don’t just ghost them. I cannot tell you all how many times I have been contacted by someone who wants to commission an umbra-staff prop from me, only to have them completely vanish as soon as I quote them a price. It’s frustrating as hell. Just be courteous to the artist you’re speaking to and let them know that it’s out of your budget.
