Updates
My set of Skyrim daggers will for the time being be put on hold. I am planning to make a new katana for a tutorial video instead. So! I need help deciding on my next project this summer!
None of my upcoming cosplay ideas involve swords of any kind, so the design I make will just be for fun (and the tutorial). I’ve narrowed it down to:
Tenseiga (a long-standing wish of mine)
Senbonzakura (the sword of my fourth favorite Bleach character)
Tanjiro’s Nichirin Blade
Pantera (the sword of my favorite Bleach character...but I do own this sword in a live steel version)
OR do any of you have any ideas? I am not looking to make a straight-blade sword. The last three swords I’ve made were straight-blade and I miss making katana. Also, because katana swords are easier to make for beginners, I want to stick with that. Which means, as much as I want to make Sokka’s meteorite jian, or Sesshoumaru’s Tokijin, or half a dozen other awesome swords, I want specifically a katana-style.
Plus, it will give a great chance to relearn tsuka-maki!
