Guys, I hate to be that person, but Genesis and Angeal being older than Sephiroth is not a theory: it's the literal narrative of Crisis Core.

Genesis is an academic with a perfect use of language for dramatic purposes, and he told the story of the Jenova Project in perfect order: first Project G, then Project S, using the failures of the former to ensure a good success of the latter.

The progress is clear: Failure (Genesis) < still not there (Angeal) < success (Sephiroth)

Sephiroth being the youngest is not speculation, but intentional storytelling. They could always retcon this, but there was no doubt in the original script, at least the fact that Project G came first.

There could still make Genesis the middle child because their order of birth has not being stated, but there's no doubt about Sephiroth being the youngest, since Genesis stated it in Nibelheim.

Yeah, it would be awkward having a character called "The Origin" not being the first born, but in meta he would still be the origin of the crisis, so it could work. I don't like this option -logically the biggest "error" should be on the first try- but that's the only non-canon thing they could change without retconning.

I also wonder if Genesis's parents (or at least one of them) was a scientist working on Project G or if they just paid someone, idk

Project G came first, failed, and Gast moved on to Project S—Genesis is older than Seph by at least a year. EC has stated that Angeal is also older than Seph, which is a retcon from the timeline established in CC, but gives us a timeframe nonetheless. Gast probably did some traveling back and forth between the two locations during the overlapping end of G and beginning of S, leaving the majority of breakdown and setup (respectively) to his research assistants on the two projects. This is what research assistants are for, to be fair, and the differing methods between the two wings of the project were conceptualized by those same assistants—Project G was Gillian's brainchild and Project S was Hojo's, with Hollander and Lucrecia serving as secondaries.

My theory on Genesis' parentage is that he was the result of more careful breeding than the other two, which was seen as maybe being part of the issue. We know he got genes from Gillian (not cells, the word used is analogous with "genes" even in Japanese), but she's not technically his mother; Hollander indicates that this extra degree of separation was assumed to be why he was born "normal" and thus dubbed a failure, while Angeal is Gillian's biological son and is the closest thing to a true duplicate of Jenova itself that anyone has ever seen.

Based on real-world scientific methods, Genesis was probably originally produced in a test tube and then transplanted into a host mother to gestate; my headcanon has always been that said host mother was the same person who gave birth to Weiss and Nero, given that Usher refers to her in Dirge PlayOnline as having been "a fantastic producer," which I don't think would really be appropriate to say of someone who successfully had a total of two science project babies. My Genesis' biological father is Veld of the Turks, although he never finds out and wasn't actually personally involved—samples were taken during a "routine physical examination" so Gast that could use him as breeding stock. (My headcanon also says this was the same thing he intended to do with Vincent, but things didn't end up going that way because What The Fuck Lucrecia.)

it all seems like it’s adding up to more excuses to villainise and minimize the queer coded character that all the homophobe shithead gamebros hate. at this moment, i’m not optimistic about where ever crisis is headed.

A ruined building, it was a huge tower. A place where many people would have gathered before the world became that way.

In this world, Miku is alone in a world destroyed by something that is not well known what caused all that destruction.

The virus that is corrupting the world is Covid-19. The ash phenomenon would be what the sky will look like after the catastrophe. "They all came together in a huge tower", if we take into account that the tallest buildings in the world are in China ...

In addition to that we could send messages to the "future" Miku. These messages could serve to give hope to our diva looking for people to listen to her.

In the text, she speaks as if it were a virtual world, but as Miku is, I feel that this is how she sees things, even in the real world. How would she come to the real world? Perhaps Crypton has developed an Android and may have turned Miku into an AI (artificial intelligence, not to be confused with our IA). And when she wakes up, she will have a database of our messages. (At the time I sent her a cute message: 3).

On his journey, Miku encounters Ravvi, a huge sleeping robot. Japan has one of the largest robots in the world.

Now FFVII Remake is finally out, I'm going to be able to share one of my theories.

I would like to talk about this guy...Roche

This mysterious and friendly Member of the SOLDIER is for me a character who will be talked about because I very strongly think that this guy came from Project G.

But why do I tell that?? 😱😱

Roche is a third class SOLDIER because of his outfits and abilities to fight

He looks like another member of the soldier that we have all known since FFVII Crisis Core (released on PSP): Angeal Hewley. Furthermore, I remind you that he was friend with Genesis and the great soldier Sephiroth that we no longer need to introduce.

Angeal is a first class soldier and was born also from a scientific experiment led by his parents Gillian and the Professor Hollander.

Dr. Hollander explains Jenova cells were injected into Gillian and her cells were injected into the fetal Genesis too so why would it be different for Roche?

Going back to Roche...

I find (and this is only my opinion) that he shares a lot of similarities with Angeal whether it is physically or mentally. Roche seems to be strong and fair. He doesn't hesitate to heal Cloud before fighting him and seems to have respect for him.

Professor Hōjo mentions Projects G and S when he "meets" Cloud (Chapter 16 of the game "Shinra Infiltration")

Don't forget that Angeal is able to use his cells as a conduit to imbue other beings with his abilities by implanting them with his cells. Did Hōjo recover the Professor Hollander's experiments or Roche was just already born and trained as a SOLDIER Member?
