Turns out the gilbert baker flag had an extra color (lavender at teh top)

So I added it to the progress flag???

I know other people have edited the gilbert baker flag onto it but not the version with the lavender...

It looks right when you turn it vertically, too.

But conceptually, I like the simplicity of the original rainbow. It’s a spectrum, all visible light, so it represents the natural diversity of life, and ergo there’s no reason to add anything to it because it already implicitly includes everything.

I always felt like it could look better, though, if we took more artistic liberty with colours. I don’t know how it was originally made, but at some point everybody settled on a version that looks like they just clicked the default colours and hit send without tweaking it at all.

I’m not an art student fluent in colour theory nonsense, but here, I tried to make a rainbow flag that looks better to me:

Okay, so my grandma bought me three new pride flags for upcoming pride month (I love her so much coolest gma ever) and I wanna hang them up but idk how

Two ideas:

1.) Layer them all over the trans flag I currently have hanging and put whichever one I feel most connected with/ whichever one I want on top

2.) on my walls and ceiling and just make my room ultra queer

I thought everyone learned that racism was bad in the BLM movement back in 2020 but nah, you people need to realise what woke actually is, not just being queer and everything.

It shocks me how racist some white queer people are and how they’re running the demographic of white queer people, so if you’re a white queer person reading this, stand up against racism, call out your own people, and make the LGBTQ+ community inclusive as possible!

So in summary:

The LGBTQ+ community does not tolerate racism and/or discrimination of any kind.

Progress Pride Flag Redesign/Alternative version "9 stripe Gilbert Baker colors used in the shape of a chevron to indicate progress and inclusion. It goes without saying this is an all inclusive LGBTQIA+ flag hopefully.

I included a version with the pink triangle but also a version without, although my original idea was with it, I understand even though its generally reclaimed as a symbol of empowerment and self identity, some may still find it to be something they don't identify with (understandably).

The black background can mean many things, I personally chose it because it looked the cleanest and made the colours stand out. Other versions I tried were continuing the chevron at the end but that ended up making it look cluttered; and I also tried extending the violet, which made it look unbalanced.
