Since it was brought to my attention recently that a user here on tumblr is aiming to get in contact with artists with the purpose of screwing them over to the extent of not only hurting them but also impersonating them on other sites, so that they can cast a damning light on them AND since this person also already contacted me: Here’s a list of my active accounts around the web: ‘NorthernRaven’ on Deviantart, Picarto, Discord and Steam (bonus: a shiny new twitter I just created), ‘northern-raven’ here on tumblr and on Spotify. my side blog on tumblr is @ravenshoard. And that’s it. If you see any other account claiming to be me - or my art reposted anywhere else while we’re at it - this is not me. I do have other accounts with the same name that I plan on using in the future, but they are currently without content and I will post a link on this blog if I’ll start using them.Â
Now, the person in question has not tried to harm me yet as far as I can tell, but there is enough reliable evidence for me to be concerned and I am better safe than sorry. They have messed with a lot of artists before me and I don’t want to be the next in line. I most definetly don’t want to have anything to do with someone able to pull bullshit like this either. If you happen to see my art reposted somewhere it shouldn’t be or if someone is claiming to be me, please inform me asap if you can. Please don’t contact the impersonator or reposter directly as I would like to speak to them first (since it always could just be a misunderstanding) and if I really have to, it is much easier for me to take counter measures with them not being alarmed in advance. thanks, - Raven
