5/4/18 You're probably all already sick of me going on about it but I'm finally on holiday!!! We stayed up all night last night since we needed to leave at 1am so I finished the PhotoShop pieces for Unit 10 and then made a F&Q page for this tumblr. Then whilst on the plane I've completed some further reading for the literary theories. I've brought along 7 essays on various topics to read around rather than a novel to read (mainly due to weight restrictions but also I find them fun) so that will probably make up the majority of my studying for the next week. Although I know I have to rest, I do want to do a little bit each day to keep me ticking over and to reduce what I have to catch up with when I get home. 🌻Hope everyone is okay! How are your Easter breaks going (or if you are in school/college/uni atm then how has your week been? Make sure you all have a rest day or half a day at least!!!🌻

22/3/18 Today was interesting. I had a meeting with one of the senior staff at sixth form as well as a learning mentor to set out a plan to stop me working too much. The learning mentor said she's not used to getting students to stop their work as usually it's the other way around!! But we've drawn up a vetter timetable and some ground rules that will be built on next Monday in our now weekly meetings. The senior teacher is fearful of what my mental health is currently doing and so has said she is going to help as none of us want me to have another stress related mental breakdown (it wasn't pretty for anyone involved last time and I'd rather not experience it again). But I do feel so lucky to have this support, especially as I know so many people who's sixth forms and colleges aren't anywhere near as helpful. I'm lucky to be at this place and I try to appreciate that every day. Meanwhile (following my new timetable 😉) I have read ahead and caught up on some Measure for Measure ready for the lesson today. Also, we've started a new unit exam for Graphics and so I've been trying to get my head around that. It's on 'Amalgamation' which sounds snazzy!! Any units I had been doing have been put aside for a while. They are due next Wednesday but I've agreed with senior leads to pick them up after ny real Graphics exams in May as although they are real they are coursework so aren't as strict on deadlines. This gives me nore freedom to do my best as well as have some breaks and sleep!! My teacher wasn't too impressed at first but if he complains again then I'll tell it like it is. He just wants the best for me but over reaches reality sometimes. My mental health will always come first even if it means I end up at sixth form into year 14 lol! 4/4/18 A fun before and after of what I've made today. I'm so so proud of this already and I still might tweak it some after my holiday!! I've taken a photo of my canvas bag and using PhotoShop I applied my clock and writing from the book cover onto it. Usually my PhotoShop skills are lacking but somehow I've progressed so much so quickly to make this! It still took me the whole day but totally worth the effort, especially since every part is primary sourced rather than using Google images. 🌻I may be quieter for a week now as I'm away but I'm hoping to get some English done to catch up missed lessons whilst I'm away. I'd much rather read Measure for Measure and some Theories essays on the beach than at my desk lol!!🌻 🌻hope everyone is having a good day! What was your biggest success? (Getting out of bed counts, sometimes that's my biggest thing)🌻

10/4/18 Went on a history trip to Knossos, the oldest palace in Crete. Parts of it date back to 1900 BC !! Also, I'm very close to finishing Measure for Measure. It's not turned out how I expected but I still need to go through and annotate everything I've noticed.

Also, it’s Orthodox Easter (Happy Easter to anyone who celebrates!!) today so each hotel room was given a Tsoureki as well as traditional dyed red eggs. There was also traditional dancing this morning alongside the lamb feast. Even though I’m athiest, I have always been interested in religions with their similarities and differences (I always loved Philosophy and Ethics GCSE) so it was an honour to experience this in the home country as it is sometimes called Greek Easter.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 50 FOLLOWERS!!! I'm trying really hard to post on here daily (even though I'm currently on holiday) and I hope you like the post styles I do. Soon I'm going to compile what I've learnt recently as well as in the past as a masterpost on struggling with overworking/ wearing yourself out. Hopefully I'll draft it up this holiday and post it when I am back on a desktop next week! I've also got a few more masterpost ideas based around mental health and studying as well as graphics/English ones but if anyone has anything else they would like to know then... 🎉my asks are now open whoop whoop🎉

1/4/18 Honestly, I can't believe how much progression this shows just by using the correct programme!! I can't wait to get back to college and present this new page (on the right) to my teacher as he always comments on how I need better digital presentation. Yay!!
