Happy Monday Lovers! I use to look at some fine art flat lays and think... “boy I wish I could create that image!” I started to try and recreate those images without proper training (as if anyone can tell you they are highly trained or professional in the art)... and then I started inspire myself with new ways to lay things out on the flatlays. Then I doubt and question myself “someone’s going to notice that I’m doing this all wrong?” Or “why does mine still not look as good as the other fine art flatlays?” What is so different about mine that I’m can’t put a finger on it? And after much thought and consideration, I’ve come to the conclusion that the main difference is “ME!!!!” I make all my pieces unique and that’s why so many people get excited to see what I do next and have started calling me the “flatlay queen” — be you! So what’s the lessons learned? Don’t worry if it’s been done or you think someone is is doing it better than you. Just keep doing you because no one else would have discovered your authentic voice but yourself!
