It takes me a moment to realize that JJ's arms are no longer around me and when I turn to face him, my eyes immediately drop to his position on the sand. His messy blonde hair blows in the wind with his piercing baby blues, his plain white T-shirt doing wonders for his toned upper body, right down to his cargo shorts where he's down on one knee. It only steals my breath as my gaze lands on the diamond ring perched in a tiny black box resting in his palm.

My brain is frozen but tears spring to my eyes as he smiles at me. So much love and admiration written across his face. The dimple in his cheek is so prominent I have to resist the urge to lean down to kiss it.

"Y/N," JJ starts, taking a deep breath as butterflies take flight in my stomach, "I love you so much. I've been in love with you since the moment I saw you. You're my best friend and my soulmate. I don't want to live in and travel this crazy world without you by my side. You've given me more happiness than I ever thought I deserved and you taught me what unconditional love feels like. So will you continue this journey with me as my wife?" I nodded eagerly before he even finished the beautiful words leaving his mouth.
