Final Thoughts:
TakaraTomy Transformers Generations Selects Nightbird (Siege Chromia retool) and Powerdasher Zetar (Siege Brunt retool) official images.
Zetar is my new favorite Transformer.
Following on from all the reveals in Mexico, Canada Fan Expo took their turn for Transformers news, with a boatload of Studio Series surprises. Shockwave’s the biggest news, I think, looking an extra-sexy new take on a guy who’s always had the distinction of being a Movie character with more than a passing resemblance to his G1 namesake. Mixmaster and Scavenger bring us a couple more Devastator components, and Mixmaster in particular should be an appreciably better version than his messy ROTF toy. And there’s a new 2007 Movie Megatron mold, which has already caused some gnashing of teeth due to sharing a faceplate part with the earlier ST ROTF toy, and thus being inaccurate. At least his Masterpiece version just came out then?
There were a couple new Siege toys revealed as well, with Nightbird looking pretty nice in spite of Habro’s annoying insistence on only using The One Mold for any female characters in this line, and ‘Zetar’ absolutely slamming the Powerdasher Drill homage out of the already-sweet Brunt mold. So good times all around!

Jet Type and Drill Type are already here!
After last week’s surprise San Diego Comic Con reveal of War for Cybertron: Siege Aragon (AKA Powerdasher F1 Type) as a part of the Fan Vote Battle 3 Pack, the 2019 Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong convention has another surprise for us: the remaining two Powerdashers!

In a video of Hasbro’s booth at ACG 2019 published by TOYSTV, we get an up close look at Cromar (Powerdasher Jet Type) and Zetar (Powerdasher Drill Type)! In keeping in with Aragon being a remold of Siege Cog, Cromar and Zetar are both remolds of Siege Sixgun and Brunt respectively. Given that they seem to be displayed with other Generations Selects releases, such as Siege Combat Hero Megatron and Red Wing, it seems safe to assume these two will be part of that range as well!
So what do you think of this handsome pair? Happy/shocked to see the trio completed so quickly? Whatever your thoughts, you can share them on the Allspark forums, Discord, or Facebook!
