And this is my AlleyHART project for this semester. It’s been a hard struggle, but I’m very fortunate to have managed to come through with the goods. I didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked due to circumstances beyond my control and it wasn’t as polished as I had envisaged in the earlier stages but given the circumstances, I’m very happy with the finished result. 

I haven't posted much here cause theres nothing really interesting to post lately and I havent had the chance to take any nice photo, but I've started to practice drawing oldschool tattoo art and I'm really loving it, I'll try to keep practicing drawing everyday and try to get better.

The Egyptian mythologies fall short on traditional hero characters and tend to focus more around the deities and ruling Pharoah’s, some notable characters are as follows:

Akhenaten: Akhenaten was a pharoah of Egypt famous for ushering in the worlds first monotheistic religion based around the sun God Aten or Ra. Akhenaten (depicted left) was also the only pharoah known to have commissioned statues and carvings built in his exact likeness rather than making himself look more perfect or beautiful as other rulers had done. Akhenaten was known to have an elongated skull and strange body shape. Akhenaten proclaimed himself the only emissary between the people and the sun God Ra which caused much strife between himself and the Egyptian priesthood who then ordered his murder. Akhenaten’s wife was Queen Nefertiti.

Anupu and Bitiu: Two brothers, Anuppu and Bitiu, lived together on a farm until Anupu’s wife fell in love with Bitiu who rejected her advances. Anupu’s wife accuses Bitiu of having violently assaulted her to her husband however animals warn Bitiu who cross a stream to escape which is then teeming with crocodile which block Anupu from chasing him. Bitiu mutilates himself swearing his innocence and decides to live the life of a hermit. Bitiu retires to the valley of acacia and places his heart in the top most flower swearing that no mortal will ever claim it. The Gods however take pitty on Bitiu’s loneliness and create for him a wife of such beauty that even the Nile falls in love with her, stealing a lock of her hair which is carried on the stream back to Egypt. Pharoah finds the lock and intoxicated by its scent, commands his people to quest after the owner of the hair. Having discovered Bitiu’s lover, pharoah marries her and having learned who she is he sends his men to cut down the acacia that holds Bitiu’s heart and as flower hit the ground Bitiu dropped dead. Anupu is immediately aquianted with his brothers fate by means of various omens; The wine poured out to him becomes sour, the beer leaves too is tainted. Anupu takes his staff and goes out seeking Bitiu. After seven years he finds Bitiu’s heart and revives it in a vase of water and then places it into the mouth of Bitiu’s corpse which at once returns to life. Bitiu from this moment seeks only revenge as is the way of the revenants possesed by loveloss and pain. Bitiu transforms into the great bull Apis and is captured and lead into the court of the pharoah where he speaks accusing the queen - his ex-lover of the injustice she has commited against him to which she orders the bull’s throat cut. Two drops of blood fall in front of the palace gate and in the night they grew into two persea trees which renew the accusation in loud voices. The queen has these trees cut down but a chip from one of them flies off and is lodged in her throat and then when she later gave birth the child was a reincarnation of Bitiu. When the child became pharoah he punished the queen to be put to death.

Imhotep: Imhotep was a seer, architect and medicinal doctor of Egypt who served in the royal court he was one of the few commoners to have achieved divine statues where he was revered as the first architect of ancient Egypt.

Menes: Menes was the pharoah who united the two kingdoms of upper and lower Egypt under one crown.

Nefertiti: Queen Nefertiti (pictured central) was the wife of pharoah Akhenaten. Nefertiti was renowned for her beauty and her hand in the creation of the first monotheistic religion, she ruled during one of Egypts wealthiest periods and out lived her husband continuing her reign until her death.

Ramesses II: Ramasses II is often cited to be the pharoah half brother of Moses who faced off against him in the Biblical stories leading up to Exodus. Ramesses II is the most prominent pharoah of all Egypt having built many monuments and cities throughout his reign, he also won many battles and campaigns and was known as “Ramesses the great”. Ramesses lived to be around 91 years old by some estimates and after his death was entitled as the “great ancestor”.

I woke up at 10:38AM initially and decided to go back to sleep since I slept at like, 2:47AM that morning. Looool. Eventually, I managed to pull myself out of bed at 12:59PM because I figured I had to leave for the zoo soon-ish. THAT and I really wanted the left-over sushi from last night. Ahahaaaa. So I got went downstairs, took the sushi out from the fridge and went to go change while it room-temperaturedly defrosted. Ate in front of the computer.

Melodie came over at like, 1:39PM-ish and we left around 1:49PMish. Yepyep. I'm very exact. LOL. While we were in the car, Eve texted me that she got off the bus too early when it was actually the right stop and she was just misled. Ahaa, we saw her in the car. 

A horse named Ben. I only know because there was a zookeeper next to me and he was like, talking to him. ...o-o LOL, he was such a tease. In fact, all the animals were, especially towards Eve.

Yo, all the animals looked so high today. Maybe cus it was 420 or something. Ahahaa. While we were near the sheep, these girls were saying how they were used to make ugg boots. >_> 

Aaah, these guys were so pudgey. Like, they had really short legs which made them shorter than the fence. looool. 

I took this near the end, but I bet it was the same one that wandered into the Prairie dogs area earlier. Aahaha, we were so confused. I dunno how it got in, out, on the fence. etc.

Near the petting zoo area, LOL, these things. I don't even know. Look at their haircuts. xD Oh, while we were there, the brown one kept making strange noises and at one point it ran off and it looked like it tripped.

Capricorn bonding moment. LOL.

Yeryer, I really like snakes.
