That is honestly me and I feel like the aggressive truck noises is everyone who reads my work!😆

The tragedy of a parent burying their child is something I think about a lot and it shows in my work. On the notes app, I have a list of pending ideas and 98% of it is just potential fics of Jing Yuan suffering. I have one where Jing Yuan goes insane from grief and another where he forget Yanqing even existed in order to keep him from being mara-struck. I even have one where Mimi is grieving over Yanqing and instead of sleeping in her bed, starts to sleep in the cold courtyard where Jing Yuan and Yanqing used to train because that was the last time they were all together.

Sometimes I traumatize Yanqing and by extension Jing Yuan. Imagine as Yanqing gets older and older, Jing Yuan doesn't hug him anymore. It slowly becomes a pat on the head and then a hand on the shoulder before devolving into just saying "Good job, Yanqing." Jing Yuan never pulls him into a hug like he used to. It is only when Yanqing is gravely injured does he feel that familiar warmth again as Jing Yuan cradles him in his arms, telling him he'll be okay and begging him to hang on.

Elegy took 3 months to brainstorm because the first couple plans were a bit much for me. Which is why I have a rule to upload fluff in between chapters of Elegy as a buffer. 😂

munchy will always come to where mimi is lounging and start bothering her :( so first he'll start by licking her then he starts biting her ears and neck n stuff... As the massive form of Moebius X dissolved into a storm of purple particles, Mio’s rage and adrenaline faded away into exhaustion and pain, Lots and lots of pain. X’s scythe had cut deep into Mio’s sides and the only reason she didn’t have a deep gash in her stomach was her blade outfit being more armored than she had thought.

She didn’t remember when she summoned her blade outfit but It’s a good thing it was more covering than her mum’s, as even with it Mio could tell she was bleeding pretty bad, it was way worse than that time Miyabi got attacked by a quadwing.

Ino stood some distance off to her left, and was saying something Mio just couldn’t seem to hear, come to think of it she felt kind of… lopsided.

Furthermore, her head hurt, a lot, in multiple ways. She had a pulsing headache from the revelation of glimmer’s (hopefully temporary) death, as well as the exhaustion of the super cancer trick she had just pulled. But her focus was on the trickle of blood that had passed her left eye, and the searing pain atop her head. Mio reaches for the source of the blood, and

Her left ear is gone, with a grievous wound in it’s place, when her hand touches the wound, she whimpers in pain.

Mio focused, trying to use ether to heal , but there was no ether left in range, and the backlash made her vision fuzzy with exhaustion

The thought raced through her mind: “I guess this is the end, It’s up to Ouroboros now…”

She remembered the origin shard she was there to get and tried to stagger over to it, but the blood loss and ether depletion got to her

The last thing that went through her mind before she collapsed was;

“I really want to go home…”

when Mio woke up, she was in an unfamiliar, yet very comfy bed, and wearing, not her blade outfit but some sort of pajamas,

She felt her head, and sure enough there was bandage around it, as well, with her right ear poking out the top of it

She opened her eyes, and saw her mother Nia, in the process of using ether to heal her wounds

Mio stutters “Mum, W-what happened, wh-where am I?, Did I die?, it hurt so much…”

“We’re still in Aionios, Just take it easy Mimi, you’ll just tire yourself out more if you try to get up”

Mio sobs “M-my ear, is it gone forever?”

Nia hugs Mio and says “It’ll come back when Origin resets”
