I decided to have a bit of fun with @bitter-chocolate-stars's cracky idea about time traveling clones and tiny Obi-Wan, as aided and abetted by @krazykupidspoems.
-
Padawan Mace Windu entered the Kybuck Clan crèche. scanning the tiny initiates currently engaged in free play. He stopped dead in his tracks as he caught sight of one initiate, who was offering their sippy cup to the air.
His Master bumped into him, resting a hand on his shoulder.
"Is something wrong, Padawan?" Master Myr asked.
Mace pressed his back against her, wanting to get out of the room.
"That initiate," he said, swallowing a wave of nausea. "They... The shatterpoints. They're made of shatterpoints!"
The initiate in question was talking to an imaginary friend, oblivious to Mace's discomfort. They pulsed in the Force, surrounded by fracture lines and shards of barely-glimpsed potential. Shifting, twisting, changing; Mace pressed his thumb into the base of his wrist, trying to suppress the dizziness.
"Is that so?" Master Myr leaned over his shoulder, looking at the initiate. "How interesting."
The initiate's head whipped around, locking eyes with Mace, who tried once again to back away. They scrambled to their feet and ran over, beaming up at him.
"Gen'ral Windu! Ponds says he misses you!" They held their arms out. "Up!"
For a heartbeat one of the shards grew bigger, giving Mace the impression of... eyes, maybe. Or blood.
"Ponds?" He echoed, stooping to pick them up. He didn't want this walking nest of shatterpoints anywhere near him, but some imperatives were too big to override.
"General," his Master murmured behind him.
"Uh huh!" The initiate flopped against his chest, thumb inserted in their mouth, talking around it. "He says s'not your fault, it was that b-" They broke off, glancing aside. "Huh? A bad word? Oh, okay! It was the bad lady's fault."
Guileless grey-blue eyes stared up at him. A flicker, and they were older and filled with grief. Another flicker and they were younger, dancing with humor. Another flicker.
Mace blinked to clear it away, swallowing his queasiness.
"Thank you for telling me, initiate," he said, trying to sound sincere.
"You seem very knowledgeable, little one," Master Myr said. "Do you know my Padawan well?"
"Uh huh!" They paused mid-nod, glancing aside. "Uh uh!" They shook their head. "I will someday? That's what Cody says!"
"And who is Cody?"
He could feel Cyslin rubbing small circles against his back, but while he tried to take comfort from it he still felt as if he was cuddling a bomb.
"He's- oh right! I need to int'duce myself!" Removing their thumb from their mouth, they held their hand out over Mace's shoulder. "I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi! And some day I'm gonna be a Master!"
The named echoed in the Force, a susurration.
The crèchemaster saved him at that point, coming over to whisk Obi-Wan away for a nap.
"I hope Obi-Wan didn't trouble you too much," Master Tlah said, once everyone had been settled. "He has a very active imagination, even for a human toddler."
Mace bowed. "Yes, of course. It was fine, Master Tlah," he lied.
The two Masters chatted for a bit before he and Cyslin finally left the crèche.
"So," she said, in a tone Mace had come to dread. "Young Obi-Wan seems very interesting."
"That's one way of putting it," he muttered.
"Perhaps this is the Force's way of giving you a hint."
He side-eyed her, wariness prickling between his shoulders. She caught the look, grinning as she ruffled his braids.
"My poor, suspicious Padawan," she teased. "All I'm saying is that if he's still 'made of shatterpoints' by the time he comes of age, he might benefit from having a Master who understands what that means."
He turned to stare at her in open-mouthed horror, making her laugh.
"Absolutely not," he said. "I'm still a Padawan! I'll probably still be a Padawan by then!"
"We'll see, my little General, we'll see."
She continued down the hall, leaving Mace to wallow in a sense of impending doom. A flicker of possibility off to one side, carrying the suggestion of laughter.
"Absolutely not," he repeated, hoping the Force believed him.

And windu just wanted to make a vacation for once and has to deal with anakin hanging out at the beach all day...
Mace and Obi-Wan are old friends maybe and now that Obi-Wan has gotten his dream job at Ecologically Relevant Beach Town U, Mace decides to come visit him for a couple of weeks. He's looking forward to quiet and sun and nice conversation with his very smart friend.
Instead he gets hopelessly besotted beach himbo Obi-Wan, who spends the entire time making out with Anakin and sighing whenever he walks by. Mace has never even spoken to this Anakin and he already dislikes him for being a menace and for somehow making Obi-Wan dumber by association.
Mace Windu has been a judge for nearly thirty years. He has a reputation for being fair but conservative in his rulings, and he won’t let lawyers showboat in his court.
So that’s why he grimaced when he saw today’s schedule.
“Not Kryze and Kenobi,” he muttered to his bailiff.
“Afraid so, sir,” she said placidly.
“Well, stay at the ready, Luminara,” Mace told her as he puts on his robes. “The last time I had the two of them in court, I wasn’t sure whether they were going to punch each other or start making out right in front of me. Which made me want to punch them.”
“I remember, sir. We’ll keep them under control. Everyone is assembled,” she replied before leaving to take her position.
Nodding, Mace followed her out, listening to her ceremonial announcement. “The court of the federal district of Washington, D.C. is now in session, the honorable Mace Windu, presiding.”
Mace took his seat at the bench, gazing out over the packed courtroom. It appeared that not only had Kryze gotten the word out about her case, leading to plenty of spectators, there were several law students in attendance. Not surprising, since the local law schools had gotten word about the fireworks that happened when Kryze went up against Kenobi.
Then, with a curt nod towards Luminara, Mace leaned back and gathered his strength.
“In the matter of the United States versus Norman Grievious, the charges being treason, sedition and homicide,” Luminara stated slowly.
“Ben Kenobi for the prosecution, Your Honor,” Kenobi said, rising to his feet. His usual tan suit was offset by a creamy shirt and a brown tie. He ran a hand through his ginger hair as he consulted his legal pad, then looked over at the opposing counsel.
“Satine Kryze for the defense, Your Honor. And please allow me to state for the record that this trial is a travesty of justice, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the Scottsboro Boys--”
“Thank you, Counselor Kryze,” Mace said dryly. “Please bring in the prisoner.”
Grievous, a tall, spindly man, walks into the room with hunched shoulders. He takes his place by Kryze, glaring around the room and especially at Kenobi.
“Does the prisoner understand his rights?” Mace asked.
“Yes, Your Honor,” Grievous said, his voice dark with malevolence.
“Very good,” Mace said, shifting in his seat. “Defense, do you wish to enter a plea at this time?”
Kryze lifted her chin and threw a dirty look at Kenobi. “Yes, Your Honor. Not guilty on all charges.”

Hi! I’m such a fan of your page, could you please share again that dialogue or scene where Mace Windu is trying to record a day life in the Jedi order and everything goes wrong? I love it , Thank you
Absolutely (That’s honestly one of my faves, too. I could see it in my head so clearly as I wrote it.) Here you go! Thank you for the kind words. 😊
So fun fact about me - I used to draw alot. I'm no where near @delicateblackrose level, but I enjoyed it a ton
And I really miss drawing, but I have a bunch of ideas like...
Anakin answering Padmé's apartment door, only to face a startled delivery man. No context, no words while Anakin - tired, with bandages wrapped around his ribs, in his underpants - pays for their take-out with 100 credits, says thanks, and closes the door with a "honey, dinner's here." The delivery man stands there for a solid minute not knowing what the hell just happened.
Obi-Wan saying to Satine that they should go out for drinks or be fancy adults or something. She looks him dead in the eye while taking off her bra. "Not happening," she says, flopping on the couch. He just sighs and sits beside her. After a moment of being a prickly hedgehog, Satine crawls over to him and snuggles into his side. While they're watching the Holonet she hands him a positive pregnancy test. He stares at it, then the last frame is of them kissing.
A strip where Mace keeps getting mildly inconvenienced - his comlink stops working, a mouse droid trips him, there's no more creamer for his caf, he loses a round of Sarbaac to Ponds, there's a tear in his robe, someone (Obi-Wan) does an impression of him during a Council meeting, etc. He keeps getting more and more frustrated, and at the end of the day, when he heads back to his apartment totally, absolutely done, there's a little note with a tray of cookies on the table. 'Caleb noticed you were having a bad day and made you cookies. Unfortunately he fell asleep before he could bring them to you. Don't eat too many - you always forget you have diabetes. See you tomorrow for sparring practice, old man. -Depa'
Breha Organa in a meeting on Coruscant, incredibly bored while the Chancellor and Master Yoda yap away. Her husband is holding her hand under the table, but he's rather intrigued by the conversation. She sighs, glancing over on occasion to Padmé Amidala beside her, who appears to be taking diligent notes. Every time she looks over, Padmé is typing - then at one point, she tries hears a muffled snort across the room. Breha glances around the packed room, surprised to find Anakin Skywalker trying not to laugh at his datapad and Padmé looking proud of herself. Somehow, that makes the entire meeting worth it
Tahl and padawan Obi-Wan weaving through the streets of Coruscant, having an incredibly hard time finding a Life day present for Qui-Gon. They're almost at their wits end, and Obi-Wan eventually finds a scraggly, slightly brown plant that probably isn't legal on Coruscant. He buys it for Qui-Gon and Qui-Gon loves it. (Obi-Wan does miss Tahl kissing Qui-Gon when he turns around for cake). Last frame - Obi-Wan is showing the same plant to Ahsoka when she's having a hard time, and telling her that even the smallest plants have strength to endure anything.
