Pontooning the Kern River.

If we've learned one thing this year, it's that you have to take happiness wherever you can find it. And this week, my family is finding it at the lake. Three quiet, secluded, obligation-free days filled with fishing, pontooning, swimming, and eating. Oh, so much eating. And did I mention obligation-free? Guess that means I'll be skipping out on another week of blogging. Sorry, not sorry. Don't worry, though. I'll be back next week with a full report, I'm sure. Oh, and for all you cat burglars, forgetaboutit. By the time this post publishes, we'll be back home. And my wife can swing a bat harder than Mark McGuire. Anyway, happy trails, y'all!
