4x13 Suspicion

I mean, come on. THE Buddie episode? Where else would I put it? I was actually spoiled for the episode. Because after Buck Begins I got spoiled on the return of Ana and I just kinda lost interest but I kept up with the show since I still followed several Buddie blogs. After the season ended I eventually watched the rest of the season and that moment still packed a punch, even though I knew what was coming. I rewatched that scene probably more then any other from the show. It was also really nice to see Athena and Bobby have issues and say some things that might not have been nice but needed saying. It made the reconciliation that much better. The Charlie storyline was heartbreaking and poor Maddie. But what makes this episode, is the cinematic masterpiece that is the shooting.

2. 9x16 Where There's Smoke

I like this concept, if used right. And I like the FireFam playing detectives. I'm glad Buck and May were part of the team. Dad!Chim was adorable. And the way they flashed back to the migrants story *chef's kiss* Also the close ups of Eddie's reactions, his poor heart. And mine. When they are good, they are so good.

3. 2x10 Merry Ex-Mas

Bobby proposing was so beautiful. I miss him :( His relationship with Athena was so well done. I was never a fan of Shannon and Eddie's romantic relationship and I think them rekindling the physical part of it was unnecessary. But it did give us the Santa visit and the fountain and Blair. And Doug's appearance :o I really enjoy holiday episodes. We need more of them on the show.

4. 2x02 7.1

The start of a beautiful work relationship. Not my favourite opening emergency but it was very well done. It was suspenseful, I liked the victims and the 118 being separated brought additional level of tension. And of course, the introduction of Christopher.

5. 8x01 Buzzkill

I hated Gerrard, I hated Buck's boyfriend but was able to ignore both for the most part. I wasn't thrilled with the Athena plot. The resolution of Athena Begins never really sat right with me. And also, Hen and Karen fighting for Mara was heartbreaking as well. Bobby and Hotshots was a welcomed comic relief. The bees were actually way more fun then expected. I always like it, when they let Buck be smart. And of course, the fastest runner on the team with his handsome mustache. The Buckley siblings being smart in tandem was delightful. They did it just for me.
