DON’T WORRY, it’s not usually directed at me personally! I mean it still sucks but the worst stuff she says is usually about women in general, you know? Like weird judgmental comments on their clothes or hair or behavior that always circles back to super rape-culturey “some women are just asking for trouble” rhetoric that she parrots like it’s gospel. I try really hard to push back against it but it’s like pushing a boulder with a feather honestly :(

I did the thing! A while back I posted here about finding the Cantonese version of Frozen’s Let It Go 冰心鎖, and how I really liked the poetry of the Cantonese lyrics and how they deepened the meaning and spirit of the song, and basically made it EVEN MORE of a queer anthem than the English lyrics did. :D :D :D (maaaaaaaybe not the lyricist’s intent but I am running with it anyway~)

Well, without any of the studying beforehand, it was not a successful attempt. I never even paid for my score so I have no idea how I did. But it was a LOT like an erudite buzzfeed test. Like fancy versions of: “If you were alone in a restaurant and had to pick one kind of pizza for takeout, which would you pick (select only one).” And the options would be like “A. arrest the pizza. B. have a heartfelt conversation with the pizza about its choices. C. Marinara.”
I assume it’s vastly different if you have been studying a bunch and. Like. Know why it cares about your feelings on all of these things.
Is it weird if I friend you on Pokemon Go even though we don't know each other irl?? It's okay to say yes, I won't mind.
Not weird at all! I am the only person I know who plays Pokemon Go for about 500 miles so all the friends I have on the ap are ones I haven’t met in real life. It’s why I posted my trainer ID on here. If they insist on making me do gifts, I have to scramble to find some friends. ;)
