do you get jealous with or of your partners being Poly, i find it so beautiful but yet so scary, hubby and i are open to it but dont know where to even begin, any suggestions you have?
I think jealousy is a trust/security issue and not a polyamorous/monogamous issue.
If you have security and trust in any kind of relationship, issues of jealousy don't really arise. Especially if everyone operates in the bounds of what all parties are comfortable with.
But security and safety issues exist regardless of whether or not you're practicing polyamory, monogamy, or any other kind of relationship.
If jealousy is already an issue for you in theory, you might want to consider tackling it independently therapy.
If you are jealous about how your partner is engaging with others bc you feel like you think they should only be giving you that kind of attention, then polyamory is likely not for you.
Often, polyamory and being open is a fantasy that many people can't handle the reality of. People want all of the fun but fail to communicate boundaries and safety guidelines that make it emotionally safe for everyone. Or worse, they bend the rules to fit their own agenda and end up hurting multiple people as a result of that selfishness.
All of this depends greatly on your capacity and how safe you feel in your relationships.
As far as serious advice:
Read. Educate yourself.
Seek counseling, speak to a couples therapist to go over your concerns and wants.
Write shit down. Write down your guidelines, wants, hard deal-breakers etc.
Be honest and safe.
