If he was created by Killjoy (I have my doubts) he was an order, not something she built for herself - aka the gaping hole in the aesthetic between her personal bots and kay/o

he was an older model than the turret and alarm bot, because he doesn’t have invisible disguise, and his function seems to be mainly attack, not defence

THIS GUY WAS SPECIFICALLY BUILT TO KILL RADIANTS

Just take a quick look at his abilities

Two of four take away the player’s abilities for a ‘short just enough for him to kill you’ duration,

The other one is an insane grenade that explodes multiple times and deals almost lethal damage if you aim right,

He has a flash whose detonation you can control,

AND DID I MENTION ANYONE CAN REVIVE HIM IF HE HAD HIS ULT OUT AND DIED OR--

Long story short, this guy is insane. He can take away Raze’s an Sova’s ult. Yeah.

As I said. Specifically designed to render people helpless, zeroed in on radiants

While his voice does annoy me slightly, he seems to have good voicelines

and

Reyna has a problem with Killjoy because of something Kj made that caused destruction. And kay/o is seen battling Reyna (kay/o trailer, anyone?). And that’s the only reason why it makes sense Killjoy built him.

He was obviously not built for the protocol needs, huh?

Because here’s a little fact: He’s a robot. Not a cyborg. A robot. He’s programmed. He doesn’t have emotions or free will. Someone is controlling him, and that’s just how it is (unless Riot decides to pull the ‘oh robot’s evolved here’ bs)

So either

a) he was hijacked by an anti radiant fanatic (there’s no way there wasn’t some sort of racism-like reactions to radiants when they appeared. Bc humanity, unfortunately, always reacts the same way), or

b) He was sent by Kingdom/other organisation before they decided to utilise radiants in their ranks.

What I wonder is where was he before he joined the very people he was made to destroy?

Why did he attack Reyna?

Who controlled him?

And most importantly, who ordered his creation?
