Love Bite

"you're so perfect."

Cross lies next to you in bed, his body pressed against your side, propped up by an elbow underneath him. His other hand glides down your body, feeling along the curves against your sweatshirt's fabric.

A candle just beside the bed warms the room, its flickers sending whisps of orange flickering along the walls. The smell is calming, a harmonious blend of citrus and floral.

Cross's touch is feather-soft as his hand runs along your side, fingers teasing their way beneath the fabric. He leans over, mouth hovering just above your neck.

"so pretty," he breathes, warm breath tickling your skin. Shivers run down your body, past where his fingers continue to glide, their patience making you crave for something more.

His hand finds your hips, rubbing soothing circles with his thumb.

"and so, so sweet..." His mouth moves to press slow kisses against your neck. You tilt your chin to the side with a blissful sigh, allowing him more access.

Cross shifts, his body moving to hover over yours as he continues placing delicate kisses.

He drapes over you so carefully that you could mistake his body for a blanket, chest pressing down softly against your own. One elbow comes up to plant itself near your head, pushing into the mattress below, wrinkling the smooth bedsheets. He holds his weight up so as not to squish you, treating your body as if it were a delicate sculpture, its form too beautiful to allow any harm come of it.

His other hand comes up to hold your cheek, giving a loving squeeze before moving to cradle it in his palm.

His touch is cool, a contrast to his steady breaths and kisses below.

"so sweet..."

Cross opens his mouth, his lips just beginning to part over your neck. More shivers shoot down your body as he gently nibbles. Their pace matches his previous kisses as he takes his time, not an ounce of impatience or rushing in sight.

Cross always takes his time with you. Makes you feel wanted. Loved.

He takes the time to worship your body's curves, appreciating each and every crevasse there is to be found.

Your hand comes up to the back of his skull, pulling him in closer as you let out a soft sound, letting him know how good it feels.

Cross is the type to watch for reactions. Making sure you feel good. Making sure you're having a good time. Your pleasure is his pleasure.

Cross lets out an appreciative chuckle, enjoying the small reactions you give him.

He places another kiss on your neck.

Then his mouth opens. Wider.

Your breath hitches.

You feel his teeth hovering over your neck, their presence gentle yet promising. The part that sticks out to you the most is his canines. They have the sharpness of fangs, coming to a point at the end. They ghost over your warmth, their sharpness lingering, growing your anticipation by the second.

Then they clamp down.

Slowly.

Your hand on the back of his skull hesitates, becoming lax. The other lies flat against the mattress, fingers fidgeting with the bed sheets below.

The fangs sink into your soft flesh, burrowing a warm, delicious sting along with them.

Cross pauses, listening, feeling for any reaction.

Your hand gives another tug. Begging for more.

Cross deepens the bite, jaw coming to clamp down into place. He holds there, a low hum in his throat vibrating against your skin. His fangs press down sharply, the pressure building, almost becoming too much. The bite is sweet, heavy, enveloping.

Enough to leave a mark.

Your eyes flutter shut, your voice coming out as a whisper.

"Cross..."

Cross's jaw slackens. He pulls away, pausing for a moment to take in the sight of you, your cheeks beautifully warm and flustered. The spot where he bit down moments earlier holds the indents, the skin's color deepening with a pretty flush.

A sign that he's been here. A sign that you're his.

A smile tugs at the corners of his mouth as he moves back down to gently suck on the sensitive skin, head tilting passionately.

Something resembling a pleased hum leaves your lips as you allow your body to relax and sink into the mattress.
