I suggest yall listen to this PMFL project by Trenton, NJ artist Chadd Downing. You may ask yourself the question, "Why should I check out this PMFL project from guy I do not know? Well, because after meeting him, I realized that he is not only very talented musically, but that he also has a story to tell, coming from Trenton and being a USMC veteran. His many stories of his come up made me realize that you can be from anywhere on this planet and progress/come up as long as you putting in that work.
PMFL is very diverse sonically, from dope sample infused beats (Number Two & P.Loc) to a pop, melodic, uptempo beat (Super Trenton) to high energy, anthem-like songs (Out Here Now & Hometown Heroes) to trippy, spacey songs (Fuchsia & Video Games Remix), Chadd Downing shows his range musically on this project. Typically, you would think an artist from a small, poverty struck & crime infested town Up North on the East Coast would have a very "East-Coast raw, gritty sound", but this is why this project and Chadd Downing's music is so great: nothing is typical about this story or music. Check out PMFL and the Chopped Up, Not Slopped Up Version by. Slim K, and let us know what you think.
